Local Man Faces Child Porn Charges
Ottawa police have charged a Kanata man with possession of child pornography.

Twenty-six-year-old Adam Dufresne was charged after police searched his home. They seized a computer, CDs and a number of DVDs.

Dufresne is expected in court on Wednesday morning.

Police arrested a Barrhaven man just last week for possession of child pornography and voyeurism.

I've got one question to all of you guys: What can we do if we find a child porn related website?

Me ? i would report anonymous. Otherwise they arrest you also,,,USA CRAZY !!

Here is weird thing

I have had sites i got by accident of guys being kicked in balls, eating crap, all kinds of wierd stuff...I'm luck, never found that...

Yish. He was my AM too. And I hope the charges are proved false.

Let me brainstorm, possible reasons if he was guilty could be :

1. Someone has infected him with some sort of trojan based uploader, ftp server and done this in badness to in simple terms F**K him over, i have heard rumors that an affiliate who never got payed for bad reasons did this and then reported him
2. He was surfing possible adult porn sites, and following on through TGPs and ending up lost in a world of popups and ending up in some malicious website, i have been a victim of this in the past, when you click somewhere you seem looks legit, its a front to a whole bad world even know i usually report them sites straight of if i ever come across them
3. I have once in my life recieved a spam email, you know the type "SL4ZY A$IAN $SLUuTZ" in the subject and out of curiosity i always click to see what is being promoted and atleast once in my life has been some sort of child porn in those emails (YES I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS JUNK EMAIL)
4. P2P file sharing, we have all been on Limewire, and downloaded something we never asked for that was renamed.
5. Open Wireless router? I believe he lives near a lot of people and ranges these days can go far, this would include wardriving
6. Hundreds of other legitimate reasons.

Yep, those trojans, adware and malware are real bitches--as are those who distribute them. I had my first one just this past weekend and lost a good 2 days of my life getting it extracted. Those who distribute them have no idea what pain they can inflict on others.

I'll continue to hope for the best for Adam.

Yep, those trojans, adware and malware are real bitches--as are those who distribute them. I had my first one just this past weekend and lost a good 2 days of my life getting it extracted. Those who distribute them have no idea what pain they can inflict on others.

I'll continue to hope for the best for Adam.

As one who runs some adware affiliate programs, sometimes people think adware is bad, infact its not, its the bad companies (underground usually) who pay to install spyware, badware, these are the companies that i hate they mess your computer up bad. Glad your all sorted now.

The law is not stupid, they will check everything possible in every situation i posted can be proved innocent if it was around the lines of anything above.

Actually, since he's already been arrested, the law's focus will only be on gathering evidence that would nail him to the cross and they will have a blind eye to any contrary evidence. His defense team will have to hire computer forensic experts to find any contrary evidence.

if he's guilty, it will be pretty obvious....

if the only evidence they can find on him is his ip address when downloading files, online chats, and stuff like that then he has a case

but, seriously folks....you can't use the 'trojan, malware, and virus' to explain DVDs and Cds, and a 'My special folder' with child porn video and pics...

now, if he's not guilty and if he knows it, then he has nothing to fear....cuz the truth comes out in the end...cuz you have nothing to hide.

but, if he's guilty, i'd hope he come out and admit it and get help, cuz child porn is a serious problem. just go ahead, do the time....go see a therapist....

I'd agree with that, other than the number of people that have been let out of prison because they goofed up and put innocent people on death row.
