I know a lot of black hatters have recently purchased hosting from HostWinds. We work really hard to ensure that everyone has a great experience and feels valued and appreciated. I was wondering if anyone had any honest reviews about what you think of the service We've been providing so far. I would really appreciate some constructive feedback so I know what I can do to provide even better service in the future.

I have just ordered ultimate webhosting package from hostwinds and so far it's really good and fast. I've had great support from hostwinds here on the forum. Will make a longer review in a few days once I tested it more.

I'm on the hunt for a good hosting company to host a new site I'm launching. I'm not a rich guy. I have to make do with cheap hosting. I've looked at Hostgator (a little above my price range), JustHost (requires CC/CC verified Paypal), FatCow (same as JustHost), NetFirms, etc and have read through many threads here in BHW. But I still haven't decided yet. I don't have a CC, so those requiring Credit Card details are out of the topic.

NetFirms offers a good deal (with coupon), but the reviews from Webhostinggeeks.com are really bad and so also from other review sites. So that's out.

I've browsed through your site (HostWinds) too. Frankly speaking, I think you're still too new at this so I'm not sure about doing business with you. You follow 1,545 people on Twitter and only 213 are following you. C'mon, you could buy some followers real cheap from Fiverr, if not for getting new customers, at least..er..well because it's so darn cheap...just saying! And looks like you don't offer free domains too. I love free domains.

I guess I'll have to look further, maybe probably will settle with HostGator, that is if they do not require CC..let's see.

Sorry if I hijacked your thread...I don't think I am. I'm just going a little off-topic. But you still got a review, from a non-customer's perspective. What I'm saying is if I'm creating some not-so-important sites, sure I'll probably go with you because you're cheap. Like if I'm creating micro-niche sites or autoblogs...which leads me to ask - do you allow cron jobs? Anyway, the site I'm building has a lot of potential (methinks), would become my core business; I've actually finished most of the coding. So I want to make sure it's hosted safely...is all.

I honestly havent had time to work on my twitter marketing campaign. I've been too busy preparing HostWinds for phase 2.....which if all goes according to plan should be launching in late January/early Feb. After that then I can begin to focus on further marketing the company. I'm just so busy getting everything setup for our new VPS/Dedi rollouts. But when phase 2 does come I will be offering dedicated dual 3 ghz xeon servers for $75 a month which is cheaper than anybody else.

haha this guy is big headed enough to think he possibly hijacked ur thread :rockon:... definately looking at the ultimate web hosting package, ive looked at most of the big name hosting companies and there are pluses and minuses in them all.. is this truely unlimited? can hostwinds handle 20 sites at once with traffic spikes, while running word press scripts assuming u make an autoblog? id like to see more reviews for hostwinds.

Yes we could more than handle it especially since we moved to our new server, our service is going to do nothing but improve from here. You should check out the website redesign on hostwinds.com and tell me what you think.

Also I know I host a LOT of BHW members I would appreciate some more reviews from the people who I am hosting, I try my best to give the best service possible, and put my customers first. If anyone want anything custom setup where the other guys told you to go home.....just send me a PM and we can work something out I guarantee it.

Been hosting here for a couple month's now and I have not experienced any problems. I was able to set everything up and move my site over to his servers without any prior experience. It's a very good price for unlimited space.

Am With them for More than a month, and i can tell you i have never experience any problem.
The Customer Service is superb and it takes only few minutes for them to reply to your queries, especially the technical crew.

Best Host Servicing service so Far.

BHW is hosted over Hostwinds. So it should be fine!

My server got updated today,big difference,alot faster loading thanks guys it's made a difference.No issues before but it has made a difference.
I'd recommend hostwinds.I usually open new reseller accounts every 3 months due the sheer number of sites I run.I'm due another in december,it'll be with hostwinds the servers are great.
