subdomain vs. subdirectory vs. domain autoblogs. What are your thoughts?

I have several subdirectory autoblogs attached to a site with lots of backlinks.

How would one SEO and Backlink the subdirectories?

Do subdirectory autoblogs work?

The name is still in the URL, but are there other issues invovled?

I heard one guy say that he makes 200 a day with 1 domain and 300 subdirectory autoblogs....

Because domains which include your targeted keyword in the URL are easier to rank, subdomains will need alot more backlinks

On the other hand subdomains are considered unique sites for Google. Subdirectories belong to the main site.
For backlinking: hardly any web directory would accept a subdirectory. Also google bans and filters are hitting (in most circumstances) only 1 domain / subdomain.

The choice is yours .

Subdomains are tough to rank high as google cares less about them. Domains on different ips is the best choice.

dont go for subdomain nor subdirectory. In my exprerience when Adsense disable the domain all your subdomain and subdirectory under it had been disable too.

Is there anyway to go around this?

Domain by themselves could be expensive. I was thinking of buying 100+ * 5 on average that's a lot of money just on domain? Do they have bulk discount on domain? Or is there a company that has domain registration of .com for like 2 dollars?

You must go definitively with your own domain. Subdomains are treated by google as different domains and are less valuable. Use subdomains, preferably web 2.0 properties for getting link juice to your domain/money site.
