how much r u guys making monthly from IM? thread isnt for bragging but for motivation for us newbies that arent making that much. also a bit curious
If you want motivation, the best motivation you can have is "self motivation" Asking others how much they make you will get alot of lies, because some will say they make alot when they really dont, and the ones that do wont tell you because they dont want you bugging them on how they do it. This is a good place for learning tips and methods, but there is a line. Just read through some of the threads, rinse and repeat until you find success. and good luck

believe me.. your best motivation will be seeing your first dollar. it'll make you wanna scale up whatever it is fast as hell. You'll be telling all your friends and doubters and naysayers about it...
and god forbid when you get your first check. Whatever you thought about doing with your first check will be put to the wayside. You'll want to put the money back into whatever it is you're doing. Shit feels like winning at gambling.

PROX means it's near a school but not on school property. My eBay/TaoBao doesn't include the cost of my office in China, employee budgets, percentage shared to my manager, returns/refunds. To make things short, I make a smaller amount than what it seems.

Yeah, some pro diversification of portfolio right there. OP, just out of curiosity, what's the point of this thread? Motivation? If you want some kind of motivation, go and look at the Forbes technologies richest list or something.
The internet as a platform for engineering ideas, whether they be simple "methods" to make money, or start-ups as large as Facebook, has no boundaries really.

My 2011 resolution is to diverse as much as possible too. Gonna start with product creation and selling. Had been doing adsense, got a decent income but don't like to work under Google and risk being banned for no reason some day.

You shouldn't care what other people earn, you should be happy with every cent you make, making $1 is great, once u reach the $1, go to $10, once you reach it, go to $100, just keep doing the same thing, then make a "monthly income goal" and try to increase it a bit for each month, eventually you will start making thousands per month.
