Keep it BHW related.

For those who don't know what a pet peeve is:
A pet peeve (or pet hate) is a minor annoyance that an individual identifies as particularly annoying to him or her.

My pet peeves is:

I hate when noobs sit in the downloads section and request all day long but never share anything with us. It's really annoying.

Lets hear what your opinions.

Odd one, but, websites that clearly have a lot of traffic and a good user base, but look like shit and are heavily under monetized.

Yeah...I agree with you there and specially when they ask " how can I monetize such website" after you have provided them with some free script,programme,etc...

;)

Like Wikipedia... million and millions of page views a day. Placing a super small ad block randomly in the text would probably bring 6-7 digits a day. Instead they spam there site with ads about donating... like wtf? lol. I rather have ads to related content that I am looking for than beggars.

Yeah exactly like that. If Jimmy wants to beg out some donations while he fucks around doing keynotes (I saw one at a mobile conference last year, which frankly was shit - plus he didn't really have anything to do with the topic at all), then fine BUT do it in conjunction with running some content related CPM ads.

Watch my rep cycle down with this one... I simply love it when people say 'Bulk emailing', as if somehow not simply calling it spam makes it ok. And for those reaching for the negative rep button - just one question - is there a difference? Call it how it is, c'mon. This is just like the American obsession with blanking out naughty words or fuzzing part of the screen. Grow up. If you are going to spam, at least man-up and call it spam. Well... you asked :-)

When people dig up old posts (in general more than 1 month) and ask questions, for re-ups, etc- seen posts on here that people commented on that hadn't been active for over 2 years-
first they need to check the date and realize that IM/BH is very fluid- what worked yesterday may either be completely saturated or out of date

When newbies jump on the bandwagon of the latest niche or method and totally
balls it up for everyone else.

I really think there should be a level of proficiency before some people are allowed
out alone on the internet.

When I go out of my way to keep the door open for somebody, and they don't say thanks or even acknowledge you.

Yessss! Thats when I usually say, "Youre welcome!" Some people think you owe them something.

When people on this forum brag about buying a new BMW on one thread and then you see them asking how they can make $10 a day on another.
