How many backilnks are too many?

I just bought a domain yesterday and i want to get in the first page of google as fast as i can, but i was wondering how many backlinks can i request in the first days. I saw a service here that offers 500 backlinks for $5.. is that too much to built today?

Also i saw some services for social bookmarking... i guess that i can buy as many of those without having to worry about sandboxing, right?

for new domain start with simple seo work like serch engine submission, social bookmarking etc etc

make the back-link slowly for new site.

once your site indexed properly then go with high backlink pacakge

by "search engine submission" you mean submitting them to pages like google's "add url" page?

Start slowly and you will live or Google will choke out any prospect site have...

In start normal search engine submission, article marketing, book marking, web 2.0 kinda stuff... Keep updating site then keep building more links... Gradually improve on both fronts...
