People are becoming more and more nervous about comment spam. 10k general comments, well spinned, using names instead of keywords, nothing offensive or illegal, strictly one comment per domain and I got a blog hosted on wordpress suspended in less than 10 hours! Site owners send complains on emails, leave comments, contact domain register and hosting company just for one stupid blog comment? On top of that most of the blogs in my list are auto-approve.

Do you get a lot of complains while spamming with Scrapebox? Any solution?

Offshore hosting, i use wachahost and they give a shit about complaints ;)

Plus a mod here recommended me that hosting, hope it helps!

Comment spam isn't illegal...no need for offshore hosting or any extreme like that.

Your solution is a simple one:

Step 1: Host your own WP blog on your own domain.

Step 2: Spam blogs with your domain.

Step 3: Delete complaint emails from other blog owners without reading them.

I spam daily using SB, and I get TONS of complaint emails...some of them are really nasty.

The only solution, is to stop giving a d@mn that you are receiving complaint emails from people, that for some odd reason, are furious that they have to delete spam comments.

Ofc it isn't illegal, but if you read the thread above he got his site down due complaints to his hosting company/domain registar.

It's very common these days, people new in IM start very dirty sites in hosting companies like 1and1 and register their domains with godaddy LOL just google "godaddy stole my domain" and you will see what i'm talking about.

Those companies are faggots and with a very few complaints they are willing to shut you down.

My solution (as well the solution of some members i know here) is:

1.- Use internet.bs as your domain registar.

2.- Use wachahost as you hosting company.

Those guys are as dirty as you and they don't care about complaints of anyone.

Hope everything is clear.

Kindest regards,
Antonio

he got his site down due complaints to his hosting company/domain registar.

I read his OP as stating that he had a blog hosted at WordPress.com from this sentence:

and I got a blog hosted on wordpress suspended in less than 10 hours!

And of course, WordPress isn't going to take kindly to your spamming their domain name to others using the WP platform. Back when I first started IM, I'd have blogs hosted at WordPress taken down by simply naming the blog something that they considered too spammy...let alone me banning my own blog (mysite.wordpress.com) from Akismet...WordPresses own spam killer.

No self hosted blog is going to be taken down by the registrar/hosting company because of comment spam, otherwise, people would have their competitors sites down starting yesterday.

Oh my mistake :) anyway you can google about it, it's very common and it happened to me with 1and1 and hostgator.
Godaddy stole one domain from me because it was a movies site.
Big hosting/domain registars are corporations and they truly believe in whitehat as the way to go, so any complaint they recive they just shut you down, why to stay with those companies?

WachaHost - Wade [agent]

BS complaints no. But legal requests yes. If you are doing something illegal we have to do something about it

wordpress.com is super hard on spam and on anything commercial. Don't even bother.

Never use scrapebox for a blog hosted on wordpress.com, you will be banned the next morning 99.99% of the time.

Simple things to keep in mind to reduce complaints:

1) only comment on 1 page of a blog, not all 20 or 60 or 100. When I see spam comments on my blogs I just delete them as usual,
no need to get anyone in trouble for trying to improve their rankings. But when I see some asshole who left the same comment on
60 pages of my site within a 5 minutes period, it boils my blood. There's a fine line between spamming and commenting.

2) keep a list of domains you've commented on already, even if your link didnt post to that domain. Use scrapebox's "compare on a
domain level" feature to remove these domains from future runs. If the same blog owners are getting hit with your comments over
and over and over eventually a few will snap and try to cause you problems.

In short: don't be an ass.

Dont spam a direct link to pages you care about, use an in between page. Also if your blasting more then one page per domain make sure your using just as many backlinks. No blog owner will track down and email 60-100+ links to all of his pages.

Hey guys,

I guess it isn't that well known, probably because I don't advertise here and don't try and spam our services everywhere, But I am co-owner of Wachahost :)

In regards to complaints from scrapebox/xrumer users, this question first came up a week ago and to be 100% honest, we have never had to deal with such a thing. We get DMCA notifications, and we deal with those, but as for some random user contacting us regarding blog spam. I can't see us shutting down anyone from some random complaint.

As I told most people who jumped into livechat after this post, if you are running these tools from your desktop, what has it got to do with your webhost? If you were running something such as a twitter spammer, and it was a web tool run from the server, then yes we would have something to say about that. But if the tool is not even run with us, we have 0 issues with it.

As I say, we have never really had to deal with such an issue so I can't say for certain what would happen. And I will say that Legal Order != Random user complaining. If authorities get involved, we can put up a small fight, but we don't fight wars for people.

After that is all said and done, since there is a few people here wanting to try us out. You can use coupon "scrape" for 50% off your first month at wachahost.com to give us a try.

No, choose any regular host. It's rare that they will even bat an eye, unless your email spamming.

I can't say I am surprised that wordpress banned you, it's to be expected.

lmao i have some pr0n sites on hostgator and i spam the shit out of them, never had any problem :D, the trick is to spam with some web2.0 page or other ppl's site, then filter auto approved ones and spam your real sites to that list.

very smart. hope you didn't pick our fellow member's site. :)

I host my sites on a dedicated server and use fake emails when I comment with scrapebox. Didn't got any complain so far...

This is first time I heard about blog owners complaining about comment posting.. Probably because I too use Fake emails...

I don;t complain BTW , I simply delete them..

Unfortunately offshore hosting and domains will increase our costs. And it won't resolve the biggest problem - being reported to Google.

Right now I'm blasting web 2.0 properties that link to my main sites and my only problem is to find web 2.0 sites that won't delete my pages / profiles when someone complains about blog comment spam. Blogs hosted on wordpress while good for SEO get deleted very fast. bobbys gave some good tips on how not to be an azz while blog commenting. This is what I'm trying to do as well.

I agree 100%. Their real problem is the danger for less cash for themselves. Those who blog out of passion are very very few and they do not care about spam. Just ignore any freak who tries to keep it all to himslef. They can't expect that everyone only spews content for free on their precious blog. If they don't like spam they should put some work into it. That's the price of earning online.
