Proxy checking sites - question about them

Morning all.

As I enjoy my first adventures with proxy scraping and checking I came up with a question that I wouldn't mind people giving their opinion on.

I have tried a few online proxy checkers and on a couple, a matter of minutes later, my working proxies are then listed on their sites.

Is this common practice - it just means they don't have to scrape their own, just wait until someone tests theirs and then put them online as 'found by them'.

Does this worry you as a proxy user - your proxies being scattered across the web and used by everyone? Would you prefer to (or do you with Scrapebox etc) check your own and keep them to yourself?

Cheers

Which online proxy checkers you have been using? I do provide one and it states that without purchasing a private proxy lists subscription, your lists will be available to public even when it does save your checks to the database for your easy use afterwards.
