I always do. It's jus that you can send private messages when you have less than 15 posts.

I looked at your previous posts. So far you've posted in the Lounge, Suggestions&Feedback, BST, Affiliate Programs, and Blogging. The only one of those forums that add to your count is in the Blogging forum so you only show a post count:1 even though you've made 8 posts.

Posting in certain sections of the forum will not increase your overall post count. These sections include:

* Introductions
* The Lounge
* The Shit List
* Feedback
* BST (Buy, Sell & Trade)
* WTB (Want to Buy)
* Downloads & Download Requests

I guess the Affiliate Programs isn't in the list, but I think it doesn't count either.

Start making posts in the other Making Money forums or the SEO forums and your post count should increase. (If you make a post and see it didn't increase your count then just figure that forum must not count either.)

Just try to restrain yourself from making pointless posts just to inflate your post count. I'm sure if you look through the other forums you'll be able to find plenty of threads in which you can add worthwhile information or relevant questions. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure why the affiliate programs forum wouldn't count toward post count. Maybe because to an extent it's mostly for just pointing out affliate programs. I'm pretty sure that the subforums in the Affiliate Programs like Clickbank, etc. do add to your count though.

Totally agree with you wolf and also my personal take on it. When I first joined,I was scared to post something crappy that had no meaning so it wouldn't look like I was just doing it to inflate my post count. I would say, if someone added or said what you wanted in the thread then either leave thanks and move on. Just a quick note too, don't start threads before you have searched and its not aimed at you Rich but just in general people like to rephrase the same question a million different ways or to do it so the spam filter doesn't caught it. Just post what you know and what could possibly be helpful and that will earn more respect than post count as that is just a plain old number. Also try the chat room as you can talk and converse with members and staff alike.
