Temporary member IP bans?

This could just be my imagination, but theres been a few instances where my IP has been blocked by this site recently.

Its not the site being down, because i can still access with a proxy, and its not my ISP because i can get on any other website and my connection speed remains strong.

First time it lasted days, almost 3 days, second time, it lasted around 24 hours.

So im just wondering whats causing this?
Do you have a mod installed on the forum to temp suspend IPs of users?

Did i do something wrong, or piss someone off?

Also, i made a thread about buying ebay accounts, because ive seen people discussing it here before, and the thread has been deleted, with no explanation why... which just leaves me totally confused.

I am also having this same problem

As we speak Im accessing the site with a private US proxy


Could some 1 sort this out?

just a guess, but...
its not your ip ... well not you personally.
if they didnt like you they would b'hammer you.
i THINK they have been having issues with ddos or something.
maybe blocking ip ranges. sooo not much they can do prob

Same from here - my home IP is banned, hopping through my UK VPS I can get in without problem......

Hope some Mod or Admind can tell us what's going on... I really don't like the idea of having to browse this forum everyday with proxy

I have the same problem but only when I visit via android mobile.

Edit: Mobile has never worked for me.

being off the PC won't disable it, not sure what will other than contacting dave.

its not like I spammed F5, probably I just opened 5 ot 6 multiple tabs of my subscribed threads, I don't think that counts as a ddos attack

Thats Firewall trying to clean traffic. I would say software firewall, not sure which one.
Accessing from outside of some IP ranges will trigger alarm and make your live difficult.
This will probably work only during DDOS, so BHW could be attacked as we speak.

... I'm not saying it's a ddos attack lol. BHW has a lot of enemies so they have to up some strict filters.
