About backlinks

Hi, I'm planning to buy backlinks to my website. My website is PR3 and it is on the first page on a few keywords ranking between 5-8.

My question is if I buy back links and they put them on sites with PR0 - PR5 is it possible that my website will loose any google search rank or PR? or will things stay the same or improve at least a little eventually?

Can websites get penalized for getting too much backlinks in a short time?

Any help or links are appreciated.

Anyone have any trusted sellers links?

The real answer is that we can't be sure of the results. I have done thousands of backlinks for BRAND NEW sites, on really junk filled blogs, and the results were positive, but I could easily see Google punishing your site if all the links were unrelated.

How many backlinks do you currently show listed in Yahoo Site Explorer? And how many are you looking to purchase? This could help us decide if there would be any negative effects.

On yahoo Inlinks are 69. But on a backlinking website it says I have 93.
I checked my competitors they have over 14k

I'm thinking of buying 250 or maybe 500 backlinks for now if it wont do any harm

No one can say exactly. but yes if you caught you will be penalize. but i don't understand why you are looking for buying link. you are doing well. your keywords are on front page. in my opinion try to get some high pr relevant blog comment link instead of buying link.

Really nobody ever gets caught buying links. If you buy crappy footer links they won't count much.

Just never buy links based on PR. Look for links from sites that rank high for your terms and related terms and you'll be able to accurately predict a big ranking boost.

I'm trying to get to better positions but I guess Ill try to get links from blogs

How about links from random forum signatures or irrelevant profile links? Will they do any harm? Or are they still worth building?

Before doing that, consider buying scrapebox. Easily tons of links. Or create manually high-Q links.

You 250-500 links must be damn good in order that paying is really justified.

Harm from that amount of links? None at all IMHO.

On topic, as far as i am aware google likes consistency.
