Ok, As you may or may not know, I am 15. I dont have a vast amount of options to make money yet. But ever since I have been 6 Ive had an affinity for creative money making ideas.
But to cut to the chase. I was bored and in need of some pocket change, as were a few of my friends. So, they asked me. Dude can you help us make some cash. I said, sure(after all I needed cash too), just give me a few hours. I went home and htought about it. Then, it hit me. Hurricane Season! I immediately went on my computer printed flyers and went door to door, in JUST my neighborhood (Which is Approx. 800 houses.) I had flyers in one hand, and a few pictures in the other. The pictures were of houses and windows destroyed, and how if a window is broken in a house during a hurricane, the room will feel as if the air is being sucked out due to instable air pressure. So, I went and offered two services. Hurricane House Board Up. Where I went to the home depot. Took measurements of the person's windows. And I board and unboard the windows for them prior to the hurricane, and that costs $200. That takes me about 1 to 2 hours per house. Then the other service, is hurricane clean up, and I charge $50 an hour of clean up. And it takes me around 4-6 hours to completely clean up a house. I and my friends have virtually no costs, because we simply use a neighbor, or friend's or parent's tools. And all we use are trash bags, leave blowers, a chains saw, a power saw, a drill, and a broom. Weve only gone to 40 houses thus far, and 23 have tooken us up on our offer. And between the three of us, we have made over $2000 thus far. And are already booked up for the rest of the month thanks to referrals.
