Minimum YouTube Partner Requirements?

Hi,

does anyone know the minimum youtube partner requirements? I know nobody knows for sure, but some people have a general idea. There was a thread on this forum before that had this information, but i can't find it.

Haven't seen any partners yet with under 10k total views and 200 subs. Also ratings, comments, and how high the videos rank in search tend to play a role. There are channels with 10k subs and 100k views that get turned down for partnership some time so I don't think there is an exact formula.

Why sweat the partner program. The pay sucks anyway unless you get alot of pre-screen and post screen trailer rolls on your vids. And they will let you upload original videos longer than 15 minutes on good standing accounts with a quick approval process.

Get about 1000 views on an original video in a week or less and most likely, they will ask to run ads on your video.

You are better off placing affiliate links in your descriptions and making mini-commercials that get ranked in the search engine for a decent term. Guitar lessons aren't they only winner on YouTube.

maybe they got turned down because they had copyrighted songs in their videos or something.

Thanks for the input guys, so what im gathering from everywhere i look it's about, 200 subs and 2k views per average.

I know I can make more money that way, I don't want partner for the monetizational benefits, I have my own methods. thanks for the suggestions though

use playinator. upload 3 vids a day, 1 month later apply and you will be accepted. did that with my 1st account and now my 2nd will get approved soon

I was invited to become a partner a few times, i only had three vids, but they were all adult related and they were declined after i accepted the invite and my account was banned (lol?).

But i learned that if you get a constant stream of real views every day (i had 100 average a day), they might send you an invite.

I hear it was something like 300,000 hits a month? They use Criterio now! Ha... bags of money in that network!

I started a new channel not so long ago (5 months or so) and uploaded about 3 videos one of them got like 20K views in one month and it got them to ask me to be come a member, but after a while they warned me LOL (coz I stole the video from another site) hehe

If you get about 1000+ views in the first 3 or 4 days, they often ask to run ads on that video. Yeah, they ask you to join the partner program. But it is not the FULL partner program. It is just to run ads on that video.

In my view, the most important benefit of the partner program is getting your videos on the search results page under the "Featured Videos"...that is a big advantage in getting your videos viewed a lot more.

But I would love to hear from people who actually got the partner program (not just invited for ads on 1 video) to know what their channel was doing in terms of daily views, subs and overall views when they got accepted.

1-2 videos a week would be kinda low on views unless you include your pre-existing ones. 2-3 videos a week might just work though.

personally for the 1st month of my account i just didnt care about subscribers just boost the views so i uploaded 100 vids a month and then eventually playinator boosted them all to 50k and i was then accepted, now i make 3 vids a week on my main and 3/day on my 2nd.

My method is flawless.

cant remember exact numbers but it was around these.

total views: around 5 million.
subscribers: 150.
total videos 100. give or take a few.
method to gain views: playinator.
niche: tech related.

If you have a GOOD channel with viewable videos, and some views, just apply yourself, and fill out an big description on "why" you want to apply.

That was what I read in a German book about it, from an guy having himself a small YouTube channel partnered with YouTube.

2. All content must be 100% origonal

3. Content should cater to specific niche - there is a youtube partner in the comic niche who makes less than 60 views a video. But he is still a partner

4. Youtube associates will discover and add members as they see fit.

So in a sense just make something they like and best of luck

Did the actually tell you no less than 6 months? or are you just guessing, I was hoping to get it in less than 3 months. I'm talking *quality* videos though.
