I purchased this service a couple of weeks ago and have been watching my links grow via yahoo site explorer.

My backlinks have been going up and up. At the start of today they were at 912.

However, from some untold reason, I have gone to site explorer and my links have dropped right down to 420!!!! I cannot telly ou how gutted I am.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Yep - Don't worry about it

I noticed on many other sites today that Yahoo backlinks have dropped.

This has happened a few times this year so far, and they usually come right back within 48 hours.

This is only the way that Yahoo is displaying the backlinks. Here is another member that noticed this trend today as well

Overall, don't freak out and check back over the course of the next few days. Every one of my websites has seen about 50-60% backlinks today. My guess is this has to do with Yahoo/Bing updating their servers/indexes.
