Exact Match Domain- Importance/Plurals

I've now read a few ebooks, done some keyword research and have found a keyword that seems to be appropriate and fairly easy to rank for. My question is based around the importance of an exact match domain. As one phrase receives approx 1500 searches per month and so does the plural version. This is using google adwords with exact phrase.

So if I intend on registering for this niche, should I choose the XXXXs over the XXXX. And by choosing the plural domain name will it still make it significantly easier to rank for the for both terms?

I believe so, because the search terms are found in both.

Domain name "camelheads.com" will be found for both searches "camel head" and "camel heads" because the words are present. The individual words are highlighted in Google's results to confirm it.

I'm fairly new myself so you may want to wait for someone more knowledgable to confirm it but I'd be surprised if it wasn't the case.

I do alot of exact keyword domains and for me RARELY do both the singular and plural have the same stats. Re-check your findings. If still correct and may be wise to register them both just incase and develop the plural one as the above poster mentioned

Exactly! Register both...At worst you would get traffic from both sets of words individually...

Ah ok because at the moment I have only one website that I started about two weeks ago. I've been able to get it into the first page of google for the keyword. They both have the same stats just one has a slightly higher CPC, So I was hoping that I can rank for both the plural and the singular in one domain.
