I know PR generally doesnt mean a lot. But im thinking of increase PR on some sites to sell backlinks on them.

I think there are better ways to monetize a site rather than sell backlinks.

Not if all the site has going for it is worthless PR! As long as a link isn't nofollow PR will pass so just get some shitty links, they're everywhere.

Has anyone had a PR update recently? I've been sitting on my PR 0 up against a bunch of 4's and 5's, for far too long.

Didn't have much luck with commenting, but profile links boosted my site to pr6 in a few months.

I think you must register ur websites on a lot Social Bookmarjking and article directory.. It`s really help for increasing pagerank and SERPs on Google....

Your PR will increase if you have backlinks from high pr site

Get backlinks from high PR pages( not domain) with less outbound link(OBL).

Also listen what G00gle says below:

The fastest way will have to be the expensive way. Buy sites that already have PRs and then put your link there, be sure they are do follow

Really, are u sure?

I cant believe that a bunch of PR:n/a profile links could boost your site to PR6... After all it takes 42,414 on-topic PR1 backlinks to get to PR6 and that many over only a few months would sandbox your site.

Profile links are only good for boosting SERPs, not PR!

I think you would find that the commenting was what actually boosted your PR, not profile links. It was just a combination of the fact that Google didnt index the backlinks for a while before one PR update, so they didnt show as a PR boost until the following update.
These updates also only occur every 3-4 months too, so it probably appeared as though commenting didnt work for you :)
