Everybody, please attention, Tseng is a swindler.
in 11-10-2010, i posted a topic i plan to look for a content writer.
then, Tseng contacted me in BWH. we communicate via the BHW message and i agreed Tseng to write the content for me.
then i paid Tseng for $30 via paypal about 6 articles. he promised to finish the content writing in the 48 hours to 72 hours. until 11-20-2010, he had not completed the content writing, so i asked him to refund.
he promised to refund. but he hasn't refunded until now.

so, if you plan to look for a content writer, please be careful, don't trust in Tseng is a swindler.

yes, this decision was taken according to his posts. Its the time for him to realise. Hope he refunds your money to avoid perm ban.

I have not been on the forum for weeks, signed up a few months ago paid the donation and was ready to enjoy being an active member of the forum, I started posting and really getting into it, after posting that I need some copy . Tseng pm'd me and offered me her services ( i believe Tseng is female) to cut to the chase I paid for 2 articles which where delivered on time.

I then sent a further $50 for more content.

I am still waiting and Tseng wont answer me when i posted , all i got was people defending Tseng and a "training moderator" asking me why i posted the thread in the wrong section.

There's over 100,000 member accounts on this forum. The mods are here to try and keep some order and do what they can to keep outright scammers at bay, but they can't be expected to catch every single one. Even when reports are made there isn't always enough information to determine if it's an outright scammer or just someone that gets a little overwhelmed sometimes. There's a difference between a scam and incompetence. Neither are good but they aren't the same thing either.

It's not always easy, but it's actually up to each individual to do their own due diligence and determine when to work with different individuals. There's always the chance of getting scammed, but that applies equally in offline ventures as well.

There is a lot more to this forum than just buying a service now and then. Even if you do want to buy services, Tseng is just one of thousands that you might find in the hire a freelancer section at any particular time.

The information and discussions available on bhw is where the real value of the forum is. If you decide not to come here very often because of a bad experience with one or two members, then you're losing out even more than from just that experience.

The mods can only be expected to do so much, ultimately it's everyone's responsibility to be cautious in their own actions.

I wish you luck in resolving your issues with Tseng if possible, but that experience isn't representative of bhw as a whole. Tseng is just one member among thousands, your odds of finding good people are about the same as what you'll find meeting strangers in any other venue on or offline.

Either way I am not abusing moderators. Just sharing my experience with others, if the main issue is "not to offend a training moderator" then its all clear to me
