Copyscape passed means what?

I have seen plenty of mentions of Copyscape passed in reference to articles.

What exactly does that mean as what I see on Copyscape is a percentage of copy repeated elswhere?

If it shows nothing then it's good in simple terms

Not necessarily I have run articles through copyscape premium and received zero results and then run the article through a free plagiarism checker and found a copied article.

it means your content is considered unique "enough" to be considered unique on it's own merit.

I really really wouldn't rely on Copyscape. It's absolutely rubbish at identifying plagiarism.

Copy a bit of an Article from Wikipedia and upload it, then run it through Copyscapes plagiarism checker... you'll see.

No Tool can give you 100% correct result but usually copyscape passed is good enough to work... I have seen it several times when content is copyscape passed but content is actually copied...

or you could copy one or two sentences from the article and paste them in google search box with quotation marks.
