I am also confused on this subject.

Where do I post to get my count up? Certainly want to provide useful information, but how can I do that without giving URL's to something?

I joined to share information and digital downloads that I find and/or purchase.

Have been told I could "pay", but why would I pay to share something that I paid for (as in a digital product)?

The post count doesn't seem to be working. I've made 5 posts now, and it's still showing as a post count of 1.
Is there some other criteria that needs to be met for the post to count?

The only reason I would want to post a URL is to share a product that I think is worthy n the downloads area.
