Need a simple program created.

Okay, I'm looking for someone to create a very simple program for me. The program will load YouTube and will navigate through thousands of pages scraping the URL of all videos with more than 1 million views. It's that simple. I don't want this to be a slow process though, I have seen programs scrape hundreds of URLs in 1 minute, so I want something similar to that, although I realize with the requirement for the URL to be scraped, it wouldn't be getting that many a minute. Please post your price for this project and I will select the lowest bidder.

Or, better yet, it will allow me to type in any given keyword and then type in the least amount of views a video can have in order to scrape the ID

I'll give you some free advice on the software that you need.
Ytube has hundreds and thousands of video's.
If you want to go thru all those pages to check for popular videos with php you'll find that you will have timeouts. I wouldn't go for a php based solution if I where you. Just my 2 cents, but offcourse if your programmer is good, he'll offer you a solution for this. Good luck on your project.

So you think it's going to time out often? I mean either way, it should be able to continue on scraping more IDs and I don't need to do this forever. I just need to compile a big list of like say 10-20k URLs

I wouldn't have a clue - I wasn't trying to put you off the offer at 80 bucks, but I have been stung in the past with going on price alone.

Was the same when I used to do hosting, people wanted the world for pennies and screamed like hell when things went wrong. Thats why I always used to charge more than most people, had less clients but made more money and had less support requests

No offense, but this is just a general rule of thumb when getting software developed. You will always find someone who will "beat" a price, but at what cost to you? A 3 week delay? Constant support correspondence due to unstable software? Language barriers? You can very quickly hit Freelancer or ODesk and outsource to India or Pakistan. But a vast majority of the time you'll be outsourcing to a team, and that team will most likely be busy, and you will wait and the application may or may not be to your specifications. If your profit margin is so thin that going from $80 to $150 or $250 is testing the viability of your project, I'd probably consider pursuing something more profitable.

Here's the thing though. This guy says he will have it done within 48 hours and I really only need to use it once. Once I gather a list of 20-50k URLs, I'm done with the script/program. So really, I don't care about support, as long as it works and I get what I need the first time around, I'll be more than happy. That's the whole reason I'm looking for the cheapest price in this situation.

Because I have already made a thread of this nature and have only received one response with someone who had 10k random videos.

I'll pay 30$ for a list of 20k videos all having over 1 million views.

Actually, for the prize range of say 30-100$, you should find people who would generate such a list for you / or even deliver a program. Easy stuff.
