Is anyone here still doing facebook invite work/jobs?

Or am I the only one? I've seen the number of suppliers dropping drastically. So how's everyone else doing with facebook? I'm still managing to do invite work... but it's ALL manual.

Well it can still be done with pages, but groups have died out completely, saying that you can bot groups but it takes so long to do it as your essentially doing it manual speed but automated, so its not really cost effective.

Seems a lot of people are having issues with the new rules Facebook has released. That, and the either high price for fans or the large number of "scams"....or the pages have been spammed so much that the users aren't paying attention anymore. It sucks because i just made a page a month ago and it makes me a lot of money when I can get traffic to it.

the value now is in the pages and groups you all will have amassed, there are so many ways to discreetly advertise on these pages and get traffic, yeah it might only make you an extra 400 or 500 a month, but for some people in other countries that's a lot of cash, and for some its enough for rent if they are in college. but if you now have thousands of pages with millions of members you can easily make a thousand or two each month, just by having affiliate links on your pages, with doing nothing else.

of course if you wanted more return is easily done but way more risk. I prefer no risk

What has been the going rate for decent invites (real profiles, un-spammed, mostly american)? I have these friends, but i also don't have the massive amounts that some people are looking for. About 7,000. It seems people try and shoot for the cheapest available with no regard for quality- which runs me down a little bit, and gives people a negative image regarding buying invites when they dont get what they bought. But I've adjusted my rates so that I'm just making a decent return for my time that i put in. Since it's all manual now, takes soooo much longer. But I'm still getting by on facebook, still fighting it. They keep coming down, but genuine fans are getting more and more valuable.... since it's difficult to find services that offer anything other than fake or 3rd world fans. Maybe with every other dealer dying off, I'll get a better chance of reaching more people. I've actually wanted to buy some in the past (to bring some fresh users into my FAVORITE page, apart from my friends that have joined), but they didn't seem promising.

The only providers who were impacted where the ones who relied only on the javascript. Seems the only ones left are the ones that have been around for a while and are all now getting too much work to handle.

I have a team behind me and we are all fairly new to invites having been around for 12 months. We did rely on the javascript, creating our own custom script that just needed a bit of configuration after each FB change.

These days we use FFAP mostly and we are planning on moving into a cloud very soon which will enable us all to share the workload and accounts 24/7.

The reason people are not selling this as a service anymore is because so many people found it was a quick way to make a buck mass suggesting friends for others. To get business they undercut what other prices they have seen posted. But what happens is they start getting orders and find out they only have a very small % of the friends on facebook to actually do this, they start losing friends, friends dont accept their invites, cause they invite them all for every order they have. So it doesnt take too long and they just stop taking orders. Then the next guy comes along and cuts his prices even more, this has happened until the real providers dont even bother to try to sell on these forums, because when they tell people their prices, people think its too much. If you want to make good money with your page, spend the money for good invites from a good supplier. Odds are it wont be someone you find on any forum.

The problem is even if you have like 50 pages all with a good number of fans, Facebook will just come in and block stuff. Then once you try and verify the pages aggain they have become very slow and picky at helping unless you have Facebook agency contacts...
