So like most of you, when building links I'd do the links2rss/icerocket/pingler/etc setup to get my links indexed. I think it's stupid to do manual processes if you can automate, so that's exactly what I did...

I built a tool to generate my own RSS files, post them and ping them. There is a free version for pinging the RSS feeds and will have a premium version coming shortly for pinging down to the link level. If you are sick of manually doing this stuff, hop on over.

In short...
- Cut paste in your links
- Auto-shorten and anonymize links (301s)
- Spin the RSS feed info and RSS link info
- Automatically chunk the links into small RSS files
- The site auto-hosts the files
- Automatically ping the RSS files
- SCHEDULE YOUR RSS FILES FOR PINGING EVERY X HOURS
^^^ In other words, drip your links over how ever many hours you want!
- LEARN WHEN YOUR RSS FILE HAS BEEN INDEXED


Now I have other plans to expand over the next two weeks to make this even more useful. But for now this is a badass way to get your links up and indexable in 2 minutes AND know when Google sees them.

PS - have just checked this - it is a superb tool! Pure gold in fact and a massive gap in the market which you have just tapped. One of the best things I've seen on here in ages!

Thanks for the props. We have some beta testers of premium going now and once we get their feedback we'll roll it out for everyone. I want this to be pretty inexpensive - I'm not looking to make a quick buck off of fellow SEOs.


I personally like the scheduling as much as the all-in-one tool. So buy your 20K profile/comment package, load it in here, and kick back for a month while it drips out.

@sikandar - Since we shorten the links we know when google crawls them. At this point now the figures are even better than the chart. We are seeing 99.9% crawls within 24 hours. We have over a million links in the system so I think we have statistical significance in the numbers.

great tool. One thing I'm not sure about with spinning titles etc. Is it best to use keywords and descriptions relating to the site your backlinking or just generic terms?

I been using this since I seen it at the DB forum. I tried it for about 2 weeks and really saw none indexed. Have you changed it since posting it under a different URL (the 3 letter one was the one I used) since you say now the links can get indexed in 2 minutes?!?!

Heya Rasta -

The free service does what we always did - make RSS feeds and ping the feeds. That'll show you the Google spider time next to every one of your feeds so you know that G. has found your feed.

After building the service we learned that the individual links in the feed weren't getting crawled very often, so we made a premium version to ping down at the link level and force a crawl. That's what the chart on the home page shows.

Whether they show up in WMT is up to Google, but at that point we know the link has been found and the site gets credit for it.

Well, this is so helpful. I just loaded up thousands of links in batches of 25 each, then used long tail keywords as titles and descriptions, and it will ping a new feed every hour. Love how it shows it has been crawled; however, if you are dealing with a ton of links, I'm not sure if pinging each individual one would be a good idea - how has it worked out for you? It may fine considering it's done on an interval, I think people have problems when they ping a huge list of backlinks all at once

I feed most of my links out at one feed a day to keep it slow since most of my sites are weak. If you are hitting a strong site you can amp it up.

Google spider doesn't care if a link it pinged or not. Pinging just puts it in the G list of things to crawl. But you are right that you don't want to kill it with a lot of backlinks at once. That's why drip feeding is such a good idea.

From our tests we've seen that the free version [RSS feeds with feed ping] get you spidered about 150% more than not RSSing your links. With pinging the RSS feed AND the links inside [the premium version] your crawl rate knocks on 100%. We have another week or so of testing the premium version, then we'll roll it out.

what is the difference if I ping the links directly? I can use SENUKE to ping the links directly and easily. Why you need to turn links to rss and ping rss?

@jackchan - If you ping the links directly it's pretty close to what this service does. The only big difference would be this service lets you drip feed the links so G doesn't see them all at once and ding you. RSS feeds just make it easier for G to find the links since it puts them all in one place together.

Im checking some that I did yesterday and even though they say they are spidered, when I spot check a few there not indexed. What is your index % rate on a set say of 500 or 1000 links and the time that it took to get indexed?
