Viral Script | Epic FAIL!

Ok to 2 days ago, I stumbled across an ebook by the name of "cpa super cash 2" I found it on the forums here.

The only this I took from this download was the "viral script" that was included.


What I did:

• Installed it on a fresh domain
• Set up a fresh appealing squeeze page
• Optimized to to the offer
• Set the number of referrals
• Made all custom graphics (offer related).
• I really talked this offer up!
• Sent traffic via youtube comments and social bookmarking [approx 200 hits]

What I got:

Nothing, not a single person referred a friend! I am worried that the script is not working correctly.

Is this usual, to see such low responses.

I would have been much better just sending them too the offer!

you need thousands and thousands of hits for them scripts nowadays....

Yeah 200 hits won't cut it, they weren't even visits. Traffic has to be upped to make money. Try to get to a 1000 visits a day then you will have some conversions.

Without seeing the site and knowing what the offer is, it's pretty hard to give you any specific advice. Social bookmarking? People who browse social bookmarking sites aren't really the type to go through the long drawn out process of referring their friends just so they can see a spammy sounding cpa offer. Think about the types of online communities that would be more enticed by your offer and extract thousands (not hundreds) of people from these places.

Scripts like this one need tons of traffic to get them started. However, once on fire, the results can be incredible.

You can double your traffic easily with this kind of script. I'v some sites running it.
The only thing I can say is:

Help your visitors how to get traffic/clicks for their links. Maybe tools?

I know how you feel, I've been in your shoes before. Sometimes people just catch up on these things, try to narrow down your visitors, target audience that really has interests in your site. This is how I fixed my problem, I was lacking targeted visitors.

I dont understand how, the amount of visitors effects. Wouldn't it just scale normally?
