Scrapebox crashing very easily

use the scrapebox auto recover feature...

It does crash alot but auto recover and restart posting automatically

Fast poster works fine here, slow poster crashes after 20 posts 75% of the time..

I suspect something to do with temp file, page fault etc. I usually have this problem after the system run for quite some time. If I reboot the pc before running SB and SB didn't run for more than 24 hrs, then I don't have any issue.

If you havent noticed. Nearly every crash is related to "huge" post etc. You guys either need more RAM or more paitence. Because you machine cant handle such big amounts at once, you gotta provide it more horse power to cross the finishing line or let it run for long time slowly and it will win too. So you gotta wait for it to do its job.

im running on xp and it freeze everyday....isnt the programmer supoced to fix this? i mean this is not a new program, it should have been solved buy now.

Just swopped server and im now using SB on Wind 2008 r2 and use both remote app and regular mstsc.
No problem with SB, i use multiple SB processes at the same time.
c2d 3ghz and 4gb mem, ssd disk

Also be aware of the half open tcp/ip connection limit in your OS, change the value to higher, win2k8 r2 has no limit, but xp and other have defualt like 10.

Just swopped server and im now using SB on Wind 2008 r2 and use both remote app and regular mstsc.
No problem with SB, i use multiple SB processes at the same time.
c2d 3ghz and 4gb mem, ssd disk

My scrapebox went from chugging to blazing after I opened the tcp up from 10 to 200. :flame:

Here's the quick patch I used, which I think simply writes to a system file:

Im running XP on 4 gigs quadcore. And scapebox has been crashing as of the latest update. Its never crashed before. I was posting to 10k blogengine blogs. Boom! exception error.

I was doing the same thing today and it crashed under slowposter. Definately something with the latest update.

it has helped others,
but i have 2 pc's using scrapebox, both keep freezing while doing bloganalyzer and link checker.
the one using link checker said it didnt need the patch installing because the tcp etc was not limited - so its still freezing
and the pc using bloganalyzer, i installed the patch successfully and restarted the pc, and it has made no difference, it still freezes while using bloganalyzer, i have tried a multitude of things to try and rectify this but it has made no difference, i.e. number of threads used etc.

so anyone else got any ideas regarding freezing etc while using bloganalyzer, link checker or any other part of scrapebox. ???

mine crashes all the time too and its not just in one spot, im sure everyones does as a lot of programs crash.
2 things to think about are viruses or virus protection softwares
and the other is, i hate updates to good things!
however, some updates have cool new features.
its not always worth it to have cool new features if the program doesnt run worth a fq.

since you can run sb from more than one instance, i update only one instance. that way if for some reason heher puts out a bad update, i still have a good one to fall back on. right now i have 3 versions. an old one, a newer one and the newest one and i update the newest all the time keeping my other 2 and have ZERO intentions of changing them.
