Alright I know this has nothing much to do on BHW, and that bhw has a partner adult webmaster forum, but I'm posting this in the lounge, and I want some feedbacks from people who hang out here.

So I've been into blackhat marketing for several years now, with medium involvement (I mean several hours a week, but I'm not treating it as a full time job (yet)).
I'm not making billions from it, but enough to pay my rent and bills and have enough poket money to buy stuffs I want/need and to go out whenever I want.

I've been browsing forums and brainstorming for a couple weeks now to find something new to do as I've got a bit more time to spend on the web, and I want to use it to make more money. There are so many things I could do but I want to pick one idea and focus on it.

Starting a porn site is one of the ideas I'm thinking about right now, and I'm wondering whether it could be worth it to invest my time into it.
I know porn is kind of a totally different world, but there is always a great potential of income.

I've never had any problem with my conscience doing unethical blackhat stuffs, neither would I dealing with porn.

So I'm asking for your oppinions on here, because I know some bhw members may have more knowledge/experience than me in this business, some may be doing blackhat and porn stuffs, and some others may have given up on porn for some reason and decided to focus on blackhat stuffs.

Well, so what do you think?

Zak_A, I was told when I first wanted to get into the business of affiliating for porn that affiliate companies will treat you as a waste of time if you don't bring in good serious results.

For the most part it sells it's self and that's something a lot of IM related websites won't do. People constantly come back to porn sites to look at fresh new content as opposed to an internet marketing site where people come to purchase a product and that's most likely the only time they come back. Unless of course you have a membership website which can be a ton of work.

Like internet marketing though, xxx is one of the most used and over saturated markets to sell. However, I think porn sells more because you have a much wider and generally bigger audience when it comes to horn dogs online looking up porn than people who are looking up making money online.

As you can see.. I'm not saying that making money online isn't something that's searched for a lot but it's obvious that anything sexual is searched for a ton more.

Having a niche carved out (such as anime/hentai, fetishes, asians, etc.) is the best way to go in my opinion. There is so much free stuff out there, so specializing in an interest area is going to increase your income.

Getting a membership script like aMember and getting a subscriber base is all the better if you can provide fresh content and eventually tweak it into a self evolving community as well. This way your members can add content and it's automatically targeted to their interests.

I have many websites, but only one of them is a p0rn site (anime related). The p0rn site generates 10 times the traffic of my other sites. I don't have a bit of trouble sleeping at night from the revenue it generates either.

I'd recommend just firing up a new blackhat venture. your return on time invested will likely be greater for you. Stepping into adult new you could take a month or two to make your first $40 sale if you don't know what you're doing. The market is struggling hard, and adult affiliates are not near as ready to share what is working for them as people in mainstream. So you'll be left to struggle for yourself for the most part. It takes a lot of trial and error to find a niche and system that works for you to make sales.

Always go niche though, general hardcore/babe just ain't gonna do ti for you unless you have MASSIVE traffic already. My tip is to go looking for content. Say you want to promote midget porn or something. Go see how easy it is to find the stuff for free. Sniff around to see what kind of demand there is for it. Research a bit. Also, pick a niche you enjoy, or at least can understand. get in the head of your surfers. promoting BBW and calling the girls fat disgusting bitches or whatever, isn't gonna work.

Start with blogs, and work the search engines. Mass produce within your niche. Speading yourself thing across several niches is not the way to go at first.

For porn definitely need to niche. If you have conversions ratios on "normal products" as 1% don't expect that in porn unless you have extremely high pre qualified, targeted traffic (which you probably won't).

For a niche example, me personally I'm into gay midget ball licking porn, now that's an extremely targeted niche and I would buy a membership to a site such as that.

I really don't have much else to add, except for: if it interests you, go for it! You already said that you aren't going to sacrifice the time that you are currently using for the things that are proven to make you money, so there shouldn't be any harm in using the extra time to check into it?

You know, i think that will be boderline unethical no matter how much money it generates. .... Yes, there is money to be made, but enjoying that money with peace of mind, the relief won't be the same as marketing normal products.

He already said he doesn't have any problem with doing unethical blackhat stuff, and/or porn, so I don't think he's looking for "peace of mind". F that. Get that money.

I think it would be hard to start your own paid site unless you have a nice niche, there are basically billions of new clone sites coming out everyday, but it's not impossible for sure

Thanks a lot to you all for your advice and feedbacks.
So I decided to start some porn biz, I browsed the netpond forums and ressources, found and registered a good domain name, signed up with some sponsors and just finished my first niche tgp site. (which is not gay midget ball licking porn, even though I'm sure there's some cash to make even in this one lol)
We'll see in the next few weeks how much more I can make in that business that requires to have no ethic nor conscience

Porn sites, like TGP/MGP are great assets even if they dont convert. I tend to use the traffic alot for dumping to other sites. I built a couple hundred tgp's just for that purpose and its been working great. Every so often I'll maybe uhh, park it, or redirect some countries to offers or adsense for an hour, you name it. Its sleezy, but so is porn
Getting traffic to these sites is soooooooo easy too, its not unfathomable to get 30,000 hits a month your first month with hardly any effort.

I plan to write an ebook for this but essentially if anyone wants to get into tgp/mgp today simply hook yourself up with:

They're extremely powerful apps, and make the job of generating these kinds of sites a snap, but I *highly* suggest going through the install guides letter by letter as its easy to want to jump ahead and find sometihng doesn't work right (done that toooo many times in the past hah)
