thanks giving day = low traffic

Anyone experience this?? My site(s) traffic dropped and I'm thinking if it's because the the "thanks giving day" Lol... Maybe people are having so much fun...

Yes, I see a drop in traffic by about 70% to most of my sites except the ones that are related to holiday shopping

perfectly logical... Is dependant of the niche you are targeting....
I know for example this site for employees and it has the most traffic on mondays and then it goes down untill sunday..

You can't have both (on one site). Some get lots of traffic from bored employees, peak is monday and tuesday. I make these super fast and not many images and absolutely no sound so they can be closed in a second or less without straining the PC in case the boss just walks in.

Then come thursday and friday and the same people start looking for shopping deals and events for the weekend, the boss is already gone for the weekend so they go to more 'colorful' sites. It's in a constant flux but you're good if you cover both opposites. My best conversions come from working folk not moms because they enjoy the feeling of getting paid for doing their private stuff.

And on weekends not many that have a choice like to sit alone and surf the internet. Around that time the porn topics are bringing (me) the most money because people feel safer at home breaking taboos so to speak
