Hello everyone!
I have been longtime member of BHW, though probably due to some technical glitches, all posts I made before 2009 have gone.
Anyway now is the time to share a method that made me over hundreds of K in last year.
1. Pick a niche that people search locally. For example say dating. Lot many people search for Dating in Houston, Dating in Boston etc.
2. If you search these terms, you will see google displays local results very first. Of course imagine how much you will make if your website is ranking at top of everything for these results.
3. Get a US phone number. There are lot many places where you can get a VOIP number pretty cheap. I am not going to tell where to get US phone number. The phone number can be from any area code (though preferable is from the same city which you are targeting). It may cost you $3- $10.
4. Login to Google Places. Create a listing in Google Places with a fictitious address in that city. Put name as "Houston Dating Service" Provide the phone number. In URL give affiliate link, say if you are promoting dating, give link to some dating related offer (of course redirected via your own domain). In category first category has to be selected as one of the categories specified by Google. Remaining four categories put your keywords.
5. Put your keywords in Additional description.
6. Hit submit. Specify that you want to confirm the listing by phone.
7. Google Automated service will call you on that phone number instantly. It will give you a pin, enter the pin and your listing is live.
8. Put in some fake reviews. Get few fake listings at other yellowpages. Submit few bulk articles with your listing name, address and phone number.
9. You can use the same phone number in 3 listings. So create listings in 2 more cities using same phone number.
10. You may discard the phone number after one time use. However for better result continue that phone number with automated voice message instructing people to go to your website for dating. believe me lot many people call on the number. From my experience 70% people click on your link direct to go to your website, 25% call your number and 5% will send you email like "I am single in Houston. I need a date"
