I don't think they check IP's. They only check your account if you pass the 500$ limit. I mysell outside the Us territory and I opened an US account :). Now, I'm testing if this really works...

Was kinda already doing something similar but this post provided some great tips thanks!

This Dragon Speaking program sure is a pain in the ass on voice recognition. It keeps telling me my voice quality is too low.

I'm not exactly sure what it wants from me.. but the program it's self is killer.. pretty cutting edge to me.

I am currently downloading the latest version here. About 8 years ago I worked with another version and it took a little while to get used to my voice which was a little frustrating. But once it got used to my voice it worked great.

With such a good method as this is I think we need to find a sure-fire way that people outside the States can get in on this.

If problems only occur when you pass $500 and they start wanting tax numbers and the like from you couldn't you just reach your $500 and then open a new account and start all over again?

What am I missing here?

You know, I really don't get why you 'noobs' really want to start this off by outsourcing?? That's like jumping from A to K...You missed all the learning and steps in between...

Listen, you're better off doing this the 'hard' manual labor way by writing yourself because it will only take up 1-2 sweet hours of your day. If you made an extra $1000 a month and spent 2 hours a day doing it, you'd be making $16/hr. You get good at it, you're making $33/hr...

The reason I say this is because if you are in fact new to IM - you will benefit by learning a skill which is writing/dictating which will then lead into a much more powerful skill - copywriting...if you so choose...

Learn it from the ground up! Pick up all the nitty gritty details and learn a skill set so when you reach the point where you feel like you're too good for it, then outsource it...Don't be greedy, like the OP said, this method will probably never get saturated...

Write a few on your own, add some outsourced work, and keep it going until you start to reinvest you monies into larger projects and ween off the manual work to full outsourcing...if you can't even write an article on your own - how will you manage a team of writers?...

I'm just saying you will become a better person and marketer by flexing your writing muscles...no need to jump to the steroids right away :)

Excellent post, you really made me think about it and I believe you are completely right.

I'm really surprised that no one has brought up this point, but one of the reasons that I write for AC is for backlinks to my websites. There's a place where you can submit multiple links to relevant websites, so most of my articles point back to my websites and squidoo lenses.

Google indexes this shit and if you check your backlinks you'll find the AC links pointing to your websites. Don't just point the article links back to your main page, but deep link where appropriate.

AC is worth much more than a one time payment in my opinion -

1. You get a reliable, reasonably fast one-time payment for the article
2. You get residuals for page views that AC will actually pay for so when you build an inventory of articles then you've created a residual income that pays year after year (how many companies are going to pay you a residual income for your one-time work?) and,
3. You get paid to get a good, solid, credible backlink to your crappy website from their trusted website

Just my 2 cents worth but it doesn't get much better than this!

I submitted several articles last thursday and they are still not confirmed... the wait is killing me haha

Yeah i don't see anything that could go wrong wtiht hat. The only thing i could think is when they pay you via paypal - they can see your address and where your from through the receipt you get via email? Or is there a way you can turn on some privacy feature?

I also thought at that. That's why I created a new un-verified US paypal account. When I got the money on it, I will send it to my verified account :)

I submitted two articles. 1 under an account I made with all my real info, only to find out I qualify only for Performance payments. So I opened another account under fake info and US location and submitted an article there. I submitted on the 28th and it was approved by Saturday. However the article I submitted on the 27th, with performance payouts has yet to be approved yet.

So as others have mentioned, appears to be pretty random.

Update us all when you get paid to your paypal account (which im assuming is not a ur paypal account). If you can receive payment - then we may be golden =) or we may need to be paid twice for them to realize.. haha

Sigh... and still I wait for any of my 8 articles to be approved that I submitted on the 27/28. I've not been "writing" anymore because I want to see what those result in and its taking forever. I guess I'm impatient.

Thats pretty fu*kin brilliant guy. Good idea.:)

Yea but gotta be care wit that. Cause paypal can be some pricks and hold the funds til you get that account verified.

Meaning adding a bank account, sending them ssn and probably a scanned copy of your id.

Thanks so much for this. I'm actually a writer, but I'd forgotten about Associated Content. 15 - 20 articles a day. Fire up the dragon for sure. I'm a fast typist, but not that fast.

Z.

I already joined AC before and already got paid on my NON-US verified Paypal account.

Maybe they didnt saw it.

I highly doubt they send individual payments. A company this size who does payouts daily probably would have a "mass payments" list that they use to just upload the info and send all at once, thereby not seeing the actual details of individual accounts.

I tried that method once, creating another seperate account and send money i had received on it to my verified one, next thing that happened was a block on both accounts and weeks and weeks of going back and forth with paypal, emailing, phonecalls, having to send proof of my identity and adding a new credit card to my already verified paypal account...

Hmm guess its not such a brilliant idea lol.

BTW I think this thread should be stickied for noobs.

Yup as i thought, what i would do is use my friends paypal account as well.

Question: On average how much are you guys getting per article for the upfront payment, and how long does it take for them to review the article.

Also how many articles are you uploading a day per account for this? Is there any limits like a certain amount not to go over per account daily or something.
