From Rank 1 to not being indexed??! What is wrong?

Hi, this is my first post and first af all i have to thank this forum for giving me so much hints and support!! Great work!

I am running a view (niche) blogs which are running well. One of them is my cash-cow but since end of october the visitors decreased from 1200 per day to 200!?

Last weekend where an Up again, running 1700 visitors a day, giving my great earnings. But then, Monday - again 200...and still since this day...

I have no clue what is going on. Funny i checked the visitor numbers of the last month and there were ~1000 every day, not more or less - still araund 1000 visitors.

Now i am thinking that my provider is cutting of the traffic!? But on the other hand i have no idea why my page is not indexed at all for my main keyword. It has been No. 1 since January (and back on the last weekend)!

Do anyone of you have any clue what is going on here?! what do i have to reconfigure or check concerning google?!

Did you do linkbuilding. If you did some xrumer/scrapebox etc blast than you need to wait till google calculates your ranking and than places you there. Until than you are gonna be fluctuating randomly.

How old is your site? Newer sites will dance all over the place for at least a month. Also, what the previous poster said is true in regards to the backlinking. Just give it a while.

Hi all, tnaks for your answers.

Well the page is about 13 months - and had growing visitor-numbers. So still I have no idea what makes it go down!?
I did some backlinking some time ago, maybe I have to renew it?
I haven't used the tools you mentioned - only because i am in germany. I have no idea if the backlinking-tools would work at all at this place.

Who has an idea what is going on with my blog?! Every idea is appreciated!!

It's tough to say without checking your site... There is famous word Google Dance but usually it happens with new domain or when you are promoting your site...

I have a 10 year old site which I have done NOTHING even close to blackhat on doing this same dance now.

The homepage which has been a strong performer for 20-30 industry keywords, keeps popping in and out of the search results.

It is frustrating, but I have hope it will settle in the rankings again soon.

Maybe your links were shutdown. Maybe the method used to get there isnt valid anymore.

Maybe you build too much links recently, maybe something even funnier happened....


Lots of maybes dude, we need more info.

Ok, well link building hasn't happend for some time.
I have no clue on how to check if set links from my page to target's are still valid. Is there a plugin for wordpress?

There was no special backlinking method, just everything by myself.

And sure there happend something much funnier - that's why I am here asking...

seems like google discovered you're using autoblog and now they deindexed you, that's the only thing I can imagine
