we dont exactly advertise who is making what via a twitter/blog feed... from a business perspective letting the whole industry know who is making $$$ with you isnt wisest decision.

We can run offers @ $13.00 payout @ 2% CVR but that will just piss off your end users. Remember high scrub means, no pixel fire, means contente doesnt unlock. We do it right @ Leadbolt

Here is my question for you... how would you optimize offers on your own? you'd probally look at what was converting best and manually change it right?
I can make an algorythm do that faster, and more effectively than you could manually.

Further more, manual has alot of issues. (1) The network actually makes less money, Remember we depend as a network for you to optimize intelligently. If you make 20% less by putting up the wrong offer, we suffer too...
(2) twenty-thirty percent of offers come form networks which means they typically have a REALLY appealing payout, but a nice scrub/shave on the back end which just wastes alot of peoples time, ... we have the algroythm shut off offers as soon as scrubbed (3) manual coding the offer to a wall doesnt help anyone when the offer expires, runs out of prepayment , etc
(4) Some offers ESPECIALLY for movies are on a prepaid basis, as SOON as that prepay drys up, we need to switch it. (5) some of our branded buys, CPC buys, which pay SUPER good epcs... are set on "allocation" so everyone gets their fair share of the action... if you go manual you dont get to take part in it. Just last week we had an adult advertiser pay about 0.45 per click for example

i could go on and on....

and ... if you really want to have this control still... we do allow it once you've run 7 days with the network with significant earnings.

But at the end of the day the publisher wants to be able to control the offers, why would he want to not control what is going to appear on his/her site?

Plus you guys would make more because then pubs can use ppc on individual offers.

@ the end of the day if they WANT to control the offers, they absolutely can provided they run moderate volume and wait 7 days and gain the trust of the network. Having access to everything in our system is not something we like to just give out... you could do a bit of harm with such access.

of course: we said we'd never allow custom skins, and... now we do. i'm sure over time we'll change our policy on this but for now moderate volume + 7 days is the only way to get access.


we are a content unlocking company, not a normal affiliate network . we will never allow affiliates to take the offers individually because it hurts overall lead quality. If I have 50% of the affiliates promoting via Lock and 50% promoting via any means they'd like (Craigslist, etc) .. you bet the later will negatively effect the former.

For one particular offer we are paid 50% more than CPA*LEAD because our quality is better. You must remember when paid on a CPL basis the CPL must back out to X sales....

first off i love leadbolt but...the content simply does not unlock...if you are running it strictly to mislead your customers into getting as much money as you can its great...but when its more of a supplemental income to add on the a current business model not as good...here is my example\

my site has a very large amount of original content that is in high demand as it is the only source for the said material...my following visits the site very single day to download the fresh content...i provide free downloads of the material for non-commercial demonstration purposes...before the whole site was not monetized whatsoever beside a 10-20 week adsense revenue...but by implementing simple one page email submits via content locker i can monetize these areas...as every user will fill a different offer everyday to access the fresh content (4 seperate areas even) the content is mine and i am the creator so there is no copy issues

if leadbolt had simple 1-page email submits i would go back to it...but i got feedback directly from my users...and not one of them was even able to unlock the content despite filling out 10-20 spam offers....even though i had some high payout conversions the content still did not unlock..this is horrible for business like mine

so...what i am doing temporarily is using bhcb with cpas that have simple one page email submits...i dont care if the payout is even less than $1 i just need alot of quick simple offers

i will never really know becasue u cannot preview campaigns even when they unlock it so u can choose your offers...the fact is if they were all simple one page submits and i had alot of them i would have thousands of conversions everyday...with a near 100 percent conversion percentage...

if leadbolt had this i would use it no problem...i love everything else about it...and while i could make alot of money with it...i would ultimately lose money because i would tick off my loyal customers

in the meantime i am in search of alot of 1-2 page simple email submits to use with my bhcb...still waiting on maxbounty app...cmon guys haha...ive heard people say wolfstor'm and adsc;end but im trying to wait for maxbounty as it seems to be the leader and my traffic is whitehat and people that revisist everyday

anyways...either that leadbolt or let me use some ppc on my content lock haha...i dont care as much about it being super high payout opposed to being less instrusive to the user so they get get angry at me haha

I agree, if you read the feedback from users, most of them are ready to show us their appreciation but then most of the times the gateways don't unlock and the user is pissed off. I believe there is good money to be made from offers in a good manner only if the gateways would unlock. To ask a question, how many offers should the user fill up to get it unlocked properly? I've tried it and it just goes on and on without ever unlocking...
