because scrapes done with hrefer usually have a ~2% success rate for posting.... if you can use xparser and build a list of 150k-500k sites that are absolutely able to be posted on by xrumer isn't that what would be preferred?

what im trying to figure out is, this tool will be great and increase your success rate if it really does just that, finds forums where xrumer can create a profile... but HOW??

Does it match them up to your own XAS file settings or what?

If it doesn't i just see this bringing in a small success rate also....

@goodseoman what you meaning i do not understand.

I myself use the same method for a few month (wonder if the exact method with the OP) and got some result.
Each day i harvest max 1.000 unique domain but descend slowly ( due to dup with the former). Not much today.

I am not so sure what is so overwhelming about that XParser crawler. What the author does here in the thread is to serve us how many forums he has crawled and how many traffic was used. No promises, right. But also no reason for hyping:

Instead of using HRefer and SE to collect forums it crawls the web for forums with presumable some small tricks to prevent full-web-search. Ok, so what? The only difference to HRefer seems that his tool checks then if a profiles from members are viewable, right? But: a high percentage of forums has member profile links.

And here I see the problem/what I strongly assume: His tool - as it is a web crawler - just checks for the existence of profile links on forum. Is says nothing about how difficult it is to register on a forum. If the forum is protected by recaptcha or complex text captchas, you have won nothing, nothing, nothing (or would have to use a captcha service in conjunction with XR).

Where am I wrong?

To the OP. If you're interested in selling the script it may be a good idea to setup a WebEx session, send out invites and allow users to join. This will save you some headaches.

so its not just a 0800 tool.

where i am not proofing anything? i showed a lot guys via teamviewer that it works and no even without teaching xrumer the result should be about 50-60% of the list.
With a teached one 80-90%. How to teach the new fields of the list simple run it 2 times and use selfteachplugin of xrumer.

And there only profiles where someone allready posted succesfully so the chance that you can teach new stuff a lot highter then just blast a hrefer 2 million list and have 2-5% succes.

When I harvest links with Hrefer, I don't get a big profile rate with vanila xrumer!!!! more likely a 0.1%

If you get links from forums that some other xrumer has posted, the chance your xrumer will post there is good. So, with that kind of list, BIG success rate.

On a different note, mapa1337 is a really helpful guy. Helped me a lot to make few things straight with xrumer!

i see.i understand it goes to forum and crawls for profiles. what im missing is WHY you think it was xrumer that posted the profiles not something else [theres other tools too, and custom tools] or like even hands [as most forums allow profiles for users] ?

im not saying tool is bad or mapa is unhelpful i just dont get whats actually going on here just from the topic

PHASE 1 - of XParser now done.

Runtime was 1 Week (7*24h)

Results:

Profile.txt (~450 MB size)
Entrys: 5.388.180 (Xrumer Profiles found)

After removing dupes and building my linklist 666. It has totally
170 000 forums in it.

i will now start with Phase 2. and boost my Linkwheels + Mainsite with this list.

Phase 2 Settings:
Xas.txt (100kb)
Xas_AI.txt (179kb)
Private Proxys 25.



@iglow Xrumer Profils mostly have a basic structure there are many factors that say "hey i am a xrumer profil". 100% sure is the tool never but he checks for facts and if enough facts there it is a xrumer profile.
