Porn.com was sold for only $9 million and it's even better than sex.com, in my opinion.

Well, I am just guessing but instead of waiting the websites design to be finished, they parked it. Just guessing.

Apparently some people make millions on domain parking. I don't really understand where they get so much traffic (other than direct traffic), since search engines don't index parked domains.

domains are like virtual real estate. much like a vacant lot in the middle of an expensive city, an empty parked domain is still worth piles of money.
