Here is something I just figured out... And it's free too.
Instead of searching twitter for keywords and adding people who show up under those keywords and hope they follow you back by following them (or this process done by automation ie. tweetattack). Here is a method I just figured how to use a similar 'tweetattack' style to get relevant twitter followers by posting lots of relevant tweets. This method might not be new, but I am sharing anyways.
Step #1:
Sign up for automated twitter feed services. I use
Step #2:
Find multiple feeds that are relevant to your niche. Get about 4-6 or so good feeds that are updated daily.
Step #3:
Now, connect your 'twitterfeed' account to each of the feeds and tell it to search for new posts every 1-2 hours. What this normally would do is tweet the feed title of the article while it links back to that same website where it got the feed from.
What you wanna do is this. Go into your new feed settings and disable the 'post link' function which will stop the feeder from posting the link to sites that aren't yours.
In the same settings, in the area where it says 'Add Post Suffix', add a shortened URL from shorturl or tinyurl that links back to your site.
Voila, you are tweeting from other websites feeds, but linking back to your own site.
By constantly tweeting feeds that contain keywords to your niche, you are bound to get legitimate relevant followers who are interested in what you are tweeting about. That's it.
This is my first guide, thanks for reading.
