ok If I link from mysite dot com to yoursite dot come and you link back to mysite dot com, then its recip linking.

What if I link from mysite dot com to yoursite dot come and you link back to mysite dot com /subdirectory

Is this still considered recip linking? At least maybe its slightly better than the first version?

Dp you guys still do recip linking when exchanging links?

yes it is still reciprocal. If you want to do link exchange, go buy a pr 2 (or higher) domain on DP and then do it like this pr2site.com to theirsite.com to yoursite.com so they get a pr2 link and you get a non reciprocal link

Just remember to check if the pr is real before you buy.

Thanks for the tip. How do you check if a PR is real?

And do you know good ways to get some quantity in link trades? I usually post in webmaster forums (such as DP) but only few people respons and trade. I would like to get like 20 trades or so. Should I just email my competition found on google and offer link exchange?

Yeah you can email your competiton. If you are doing it you can call it "Get a PR2 blacklink" and more people wil probably do it than a reciprical link exchange. Also, check out the software blacklinkspro by Diamond Dave, this isn't technically what your asking for but it's like a blackhat mass link nonreciprocal exchange automator. I haven't used it but I'm sure it's good.

just wondering if there is anything wrong with reciprocal links for related sites ?

does google discount that ?

it doesn't hurt you but it supposedly doesn't help you either

The best way to set up link trades is with other webmasters that have more than one site that are worth linking with.

you link yourdomainA to hisdomainA and he sets up a link from hisdomainB to yourdomainA. If done that way the link trade won't be seen as a reciprical link.

Yes this is ABC trade. You can also do abcd: your site a to his site b, his site c to your site d.
