How the heck do I make Facebook company pages??

So I decided to reword this as simple as possible in a nutshell, my question simply is how do I get working links like these:

http://www.facebook.com/twilight

http://www.facebook.com/udana.net

Ok,BEFORE you yell out Google it! Been there did that...
2nd , I will use a twilight fanpage to illustrate the issue I am having.

So i've created my first FB company page, but instead of my page looking like this:

http://www.facebook.com/twilight

it looks more like this

http://www.facebook.com/pages/twilight/177653892250503?created#!/pages/twilight/177653892250503?v=wall

(just an example, not an actual working link)

When I put

http://www.facebook.com/mypage

brings up a page like this:

The page you requested was not found.

You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive.

do you want to know how to get the url for your group/fan page or you want to create a

facebook.com/yourgroup


the latter is probably very hard to do and you need to directly make a deal with facebook or your niche/whatever your group is about needs to be EXTREMELY popular, enough to warrant them setting you up with your own clean link like that

to get the url to your group you have to find the group id somehow i dont know how im not experienced but ive answered this question before by doing some simple research

Those are vanity urls. On a fan page you have to have 25 likes before you can get a vanity url. Read more here:

So, will the name automatically be granted after the 25 likes , or will I have to re-create it thereafter?

name will not automatically created: you will have to go to the admin panel and set it up.

I did not need verified to set mine only 25 likes.

An considering it was key word targeted i would not have been able to use it.
