yes AppThemes is providing some good quality wordpress themes.

There's a site that's not as widely known as WooThemes, but I find myself checking them out constantly due to the quality of their themes. It's called OrganicThemes, google it and enjoy.

i prefer thesis theme. it is premium but you can get free version just search it in forum.
you can change your column from 2 to 3 just in click no more editing code,

and it also have skin (wp-->thesis theme--> Skin) for lazy people design website

and the best it is very fast loading, seo friendly
