Great news for sellers! Enhancements to Feedback and eBay Buyer Protection designed to help sellers will all be live as of this week:

* 5-star DSRs given automatically for free and fast shipping.
* Buyers leaving feedback now reminded of your specified item condition and delivery dates.
* Streamlined hub makes it easier to report your experience with a buyer. You have access to it at your fingertips?in the Feedback flow, Feedback Forum, from your Seller Dashboard, Contact Us and in the eBay Buyer Protection hub. New Seller Dashboard module shows the number of times Feedback and Buyer Protection cases were removed from your account as a result of your report and eBay?s detection systems.
* Added checks prevent buyers from opening Buyer Protection cases too soon.
* Escalated Buyer Protection cases found in your favor are removed from your performance record.
* Threatening to use Feedback to get refunds, goods and services not included in an item description is now specifically prohibited by eBay policy.

Note that uploading shipping tracking information to eBay is required to ensure many of these protections. Get more information and how you can ensure your transactions are covered.

eGay is going down the shit hole.

Are you kidding me?
They dont give 2 fucks about the share holders.

GayPal is an illegal monopoly, and an illegal opertaing bank.

When it first started, they were great, business was booming, investors gave hundreds of millions to PayPal.

Paypal turns around and starts a scam with all of their money.

I would not say that paypal is a monopoly since there many options. The bad thing for everyone that "hates" paypal is that they have managed to be the google of online transactions.

If a firm manages to give better services and reach a higher/different level, then paypal would become like yahoo.

What ebay announced is definetely good but seller protection has also to do with all these high fees that ebay and paypal have established. Maybe they could something there. Three different fees is a ripoff tbh and they have destroyed the whole concept of the market with the lowest prices. How can someone sell something at a low price when ebay charges insertion fees, succesful listing fee and then paypal comes to "seal" the deal?

At this moment ebay alibaba with fancy html product templates.

Paypal not a monopoly??
Are you blind?

eBay,inc is not only a monopoly, but a conglomerate.

They own:

  1. Half.c0m
  2. Kijiji
  3. PayPal
  4. ProStores
  5. Rent.c0m
  6. Shopping.c0m
  7. Skype
  8. StubHub
  9. StumbleUpon
And much more...

The fact that they are by far better than all the other services combined does not make them a monopoly unless we have different definitions of the word monopoly.

Monopoly is something else and yes this market is not a monopoly but they do have a clear leader which could/should/might helped to be regulated to avoid a monopoly. What they own is another story. They could own a bunch of chocolate factories too. Who cares?

Google tried to beat them, VISA tried(maybe still trying) to beat them and they failed(at least until now). So you think that paypal and ebay is more powerful than visa or google and have created a monopoly against them?

And no i am not blind.
