Domain name keywords

Hello guys,

I was wondering about domain name keywords..
In my understanding the more keywords you have in your domain name that are searched alot in google.. the better it is.. right?

So for example "your health" is searched on google for about 201.000 times per month.

If i wanted to do something with this, the best way would to have www.yourhealth.com ... right?

What if thats taken and www.healthyour.com is avalible, would this be the same?

Or healthyour is also taken and you take www.yourhealthguide.com, will that be the same?

If someone could explain me how i should choose my domain name.. PLEASE do!

the percentage of the keyword is the key

if you want "your health" as your keyword. then do everything possible to keep it as short as possible. for example perhaps

www.your-health.com would be better then www.yourhealthguide.com

the order of the words Im not sure on that one. Thats a good question. But I believe it would hurt any exact keyword matches that you would otherwise get included by g@@gle, but to be honest that is guessing, we need someone higher up the ladder than me

its shorter.. but is it better?

123 is better then the reverse keyword. That just looks spammy, although it would still have 80% of the power of the exact match, but so does a dash, plural, 123, etc. and they do not look so bad when trying to get links, selll something or sell the web site itself.

yes that will work. I my self am currently searching for a good keyword. Its a bit more work then most everything else. I have been looking in on the reverse format of the keyword phrase and it looks like you don't want to do that. your better off making it a bit longer than reversing the keyword phrase because g@@gle will not include it in all the results. ie exact match results.

What about choosing between www.yourhealth123.com or www.yourhealth.us or www.yourhealth.net or org etc.

As far as I can tell and what I have studied .com, .net, .org are all real close. they all would be fine. there for the www.yourhealth.net would be the way to go. I have heard rumors and plenty of high up SEO talk about the .com, .net, .org extensions the other extensions (.us, .biz, etc) are not the way to go.

.com net and org. When it comes to ranking, stay away from the other extensions.

Keep the domain as close as possible to the primary keyword your ranking for. In your examples, get yourhealth.net . There is no difference between the .com and .net versions practically. For me, if all the extensions are taken, I then try a dash between words.

When adding other words to the domain, try to use short ones like "the" or add an "s" to make it plural when possible. Remember, all the extra stuff in the domain that is not part of the ranking phrase make the domain less exact.

Definitely go with yourhealth.net - it gets an exact match bonus. .com would be the only one stronger. .org is the same as .net but might be trusted more as a lot of people still think .org is for non-profits

also try adding: e to the beginning of the domain:

The order does matter in that instance because it is not 2 keywords, but actually a keyword phrase. Also you would want to spread "your health" around your site like salt, and use anchors
