Scrapebox - RSS Export XML

Is there anyone who is experienced with this go through the entire process of exporting rss and then pinging the rss with scrapebox?

My method:

1. when exporting i use a max of 10 threads (this way i do not get so many errors while scanning through the websites)
2. I export a max of 30 urls/rss feed (crawlers like to crawl max 30 urls, if you do more than that they will come back for the rest who knows when, so this is to get the most out of htis mehthod)
3. after exporting them you will usually get some blank spaces in the file name so you will have to delete that blank space so that when you upload the feeds and typw in the adress it won't show a 404

for this i use batch file rename, you can download it for free using the link below:

4. I create a dir on a domain which was not included in the link building process, something like "rssxmlfeeds"
5. I upload the feeds to the newly created folder
6. i create a index txt file from the dir where i keep my feeds on my hard drive using a command prompt like this:

dir c:\yourfeeddir>c:\feed.txt

now you open the newly created feed.txt and you will see it created a index file (this helps if you have like over 1k feeds.

7. now usually the name of the feed will begin with what you named it, just use the replace command in notepad and rename the feed like this : replace "feed" (let's say feed is the main name you chose to name your feeds" with http://domainwhereyouuploadedyourfeeds.com/rssxmlfeeds/feed (rssxmlfeeds will be the dir where you uploaded your feeds)

8. save the file and use a link extractor to extract all the links, personally i use the software below

you can find it via rapidshare if you don't want to buy it.

9. now that you have your links use rss submit with the seo plugins installed to submit your feeds (the seo plugin pack allows you to mass import more feeds at once)

that's what i wrote at point 6.

you have to create that index file on your harddrive. read carefully what i wrote

i read you carefully the first time, but it still doesn't quite answer my question. How exactly do i go about the creation of the index file? thats what i want to know. Am i to manually copy the link path from my server and write <a href= > for every xml file that I have into the html code? This is where im getting lost.

I already have my own ftp client, what makes cuteftp necessary instead for this process?

the xml file is automatically written by scrapebox, you will only need the adress of your xml: http://yourodomain.com/yourrssfolder/yourrss.xml

im still getting hung up on point 6

i got all my feeds exported from sbox to a folder named rss. i used that program u recomended(great tool thanks) and changed the names to get rid of the spaces. uploaded them all to a folder i created on a site of mine using firefox ftp.

(im running on my d drive)
cmd.exe brings up the box and i type in dir d:\rss>d:\feed.txt

but it give me an error...what am i missing? this step is probably the most important time saving part of the whole deal and i just dont get it...

it just says 'file not found'

heads up to anyone else having issues with that, i found a free program called directory print,,,works a treat

Just cut/paste your links into linklicious.me. Easy and free. (I built it just for this reason, lol)

Save yourself some headaches.

1. Do cmd
2. Navigate to folder xml files are in (e.g. cd\rss)
3. Type dir /B>feed.txt

That will create your file without all the extra stuff in there and then follow rest of the steps.

I like the tool you are offering. Do you plan on keeping this free? Also a question. I notice the links in the feeds are link redirects hxxp: //lts4.me/whatever

Can you explain how the actual link will be pinged and not the URL on your site?
