What are credits? and what are they use for?

I just saw the credits part just bellow the last visited box in the top right corner of the site.

Does anyone know what they are and what they're used for... ?

What they are used for I seriously don't even know. It's a common feature lately amongst some boards though.

It's a shame the admin haven't made a post exactly after the module was installed, I searched and searched but no admins or mods posted about it.

Just ignore them and behave as you would normally do-like a normal member.
If the credits are going to be used for something important, i guess there will be an official announcement by the moderator team explaining us everything. Maybe they are just testing new systems.

Sure hope they are not going to be used for something very important. It's tough enough for a new person to this forum to get enough posts coming up with something valuable to contribute to the community. Guess I just got to keep on reading and learning. Now credits to deal with. Oh well that's life I guess.

I hope to get privileges the credit price is so high that nobody will feel like they can just spam post their way to those privileges. I think it's a cool feature personally.

I don't think it's about privileges, the fact that you can trade credits doesn't make sense in that context.

I personally think it's practically some forum based game, the more credits you have the better you look in the eyes of other people visiting the forum.
