Hi guys

I'm a newbie here and want to learn more about earning online, since I can't find a descent job here in mindanao. I tried blogging but I don't earn much from adbrite and bidvertiser and I couldn't get my adsense application approve for months.

Is there anyone who can help or guide me on how to earn $20/day? So I could help my family daily expenses. Nice to meet you all :)

Hi guys,

I am in Ohio, U.S. now. My wife is filipina. She is in Tuguegarao in Cagayan Valley. She has a small internet shop there. I have been having trouble getting her here, so I will be moving there and setting up IM business for my wife. Frankly, Most of this IM stuff goes right over her head and I get frustrated trying to school her in it.

It would be nice to develop a relationship with some Filipinos and possibly put together a team to do this stuff. Take it from me guys/gals, you cannot do it all yourself. There is just not enough time in a day or for that matter, in a lifetime. I have been a contractor most of my life running the business, doing sales, and doing the work. You need to have a system and you need the right people working with you. It is no different in IM, if not more so. There is just so much to know and more to do even with automation.

Also:

Perhaps some people here from the Phil can help me with some complications that I am having on the more to the Phil, please.

It appears that in the provinces there is a serious problem with internet access speed. My wife's internet shop has a connection speed well under 1500 kbps. What speeds are you getting in your part of the Phil?

She also has problems with power outages all the time. I am considering a windmill for power but not sure how that will do with the typhoon winds there. Are power outages a problem where you are?

Also, my wife has some property that needs work in Cavite. We are thinking about just selling it and using the proceeds for other pressing needs. I am wondering what internet speeds are like in Cavite and what the conditions are like for an American there?. If they are good, it might be an option to move there from Tuguegarao when I get there.

Also, it is so hot in the Philippines. I am not used to the heat. Baguio was much more comfortable, maybe even cold at night. I have been trying to get my wife to consider moving to higher elevations where it is cooler. But she is concerned about earthquakes and volcanic activity near Baguio. Can anyone suggest a location at a higher elevation with a cooler, more comfortable climate where internet access speeds are good (preverably over 5000 kbps)?

Thank you for your time reading this. I appreciate any input you can give.

Regards,
DW

Check out the "hire a freelancer" section. You might be able to find work there. And when you have an expertise in something, you could offer your services in the "Services for Sale" section.

Hope this helps.

DW,

Globe Broadband has 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps plans for heavy users, P 3,995 and P 14,995 respectively. But is only currently available in Forbes Park, Makati City. They will soon be available in Makati areas like Bel-Air Village, Urdaneta Village, and selected buildings in Serendra. Not sure if they will be extending their coverage to cover Cavite, as it is already outside Metro Manila.

The nearest "cool" region from Manila would be Tagaytay. It is near an active volcano (Taal), but I don't know if they have regular earthquakes.

Hi. I would recommend Tagaytay if you want to move in here. It is one of the premier place in the Philippines with a good weather and also where development is starting rapidly. Moreover, you are close to Metro Manila.

Regarding speed, I am using skybroadband. It is available in some area in the metro and it is offerin 6mbps at P4000 and 12mbps at P6000 i think. basically, Internet speed is faster in the city so you should consider relocating or settling down in the city proper.

Anyways, I am running a writing/article writing business now. If you know some SEO writing, contact me. I can help you get some money. [email protected]

Hi DW,

I'm a filipino and naturalised Australian. Been living here in Australia for 21 years.

As one of the guys here said, it might be easier for you to move to Tagaytay. It's at least a little closer to the city. Though Philippines is generally hot. Just like you, I can't stand the heat either. But if you're in Tagaytay, it is much more elevated and the air is at least a bit fresher.

It might be hard for you to teach your wife in IM. I reckon, by the time you've taught her the basics, you'll have to retrain her again as IM is constantly changing.

If you're going to set up a business, I'd suggest that you set up an outsourcing firm there. There's a lot of people/companies that will be willing to pay an outsourcing firm for pennies in the dollar.

If you can't teach your wife IM why don't you teach her in telemarketing, or article writing or other admin things that is not too technical for her. Or why not just hire people there to do those outsourcing stuff for your business.

If you're able to set one up, let me know as I'm looking for telemarketers on the phone and I know of several others that may be willing to hire telemarketers there as well.

Hope this helps you mate. Hope someone else is able to chip in on some suggestions.

cheers,
wiseinvest

P.S. Whilst I'm waiting if you're going to set this up. Does anybody know of a reasonably priced telemarketing or telemarketer in Phils?
