So I want to start a SEO Consulting Business but I have a couple questions for you guys

1. Do I need to show previous work to the clients?

2. Would it be easier to just outsource the work to people?
3. How much should I charge each client ?

Well, if you have knowledge then you are the boss. If you don't have prior work to show, setup a meeting. Impress him with your knowledge. Provide him with details of your work and how it is really beneficial for him to hire your company.

It entirely depends on efforts needed and how deep n big customers pocket is. Even if task is easy then also pretend that it needs real hard work. I charge 150$ to a client and for similar work 500$ per month to other one.

NO you don't have to but you might loose lots of business if you don't.

Check the market for the service you are offering and you will get a fair idea of the appropriate pricing. As a beginner, start a bit low until you have strong legs to stand on!

Outsourcing depends on your available free time and expertise in this area.

i suggest u learn the tricks of the trade, try them urself before outsourcing if u have the time to..

I completely agree. Don't ever outsource something until you know it yourself and know what it is you need someone to do for you when you aren't there and that they truly know what to do and are infact doing it.

You can get ripped off very easily in this area. Know your trade first and then expand accordingly. Always keep in mind that in hiring someone, they should be at min. - better than you are at what you are hiring them for. To do otherwise, you aren't going to get the results you expect and you are putting your butt on the line, not theirs'.

Protect yourself from every aspect of your business. You are only as good as your staff's production level, be it inhouse or outsourced labor doing the work.

You should look at existing seo services and what prices they charge, depending on your workd load, outsourcing would be an option if you got good project management skills.

1. Yes, Show the most prestigious work you've accomplished on the websites rankings. If you have a screenshot of the previous stats, then you can do a before and after.

2. It'd be easier, but if word got out... Keep it on the DL.

3. Work on a monthly from depending on a client. $70-$600.

Dear, I think all things depend on customer requirement, If you have need more from you, then you can increase your prices.

In regards to outsourcing, absolutely. Only outsource once you have an established SEO plan and a trackable work flow for your virtual assistants. Otherwise you will be wasting both yours and their time.

Outsourcing allows you to scale, and you can scale extremely well if you've laid out the right foundation for your workers.
