so iv been doing some reading for about 3-4 months. started up my own little blog... and threw some affiliate links on there. but of course i gave up cuz Clickbank was $0 all day everyday lol

but i have 100 dollars.

wanted to know if anyone can guide me to the right direction?

If you've been reading on here for the last few months then surely you know that these kind of threads typically get a lot of flame replies. For starters it violates section 3.3 of the Forum Rules. These type of "Help Me" threads are usually considered to be the same as "Asking how to make $xxx/day".

If you really want help then go back to some of the threads you've been reading and find one you want to try implementing. If you're confused by anything about the particular method, or not sure exactly what you need to do to implement it then post a little more specific type question in that thread. You'll find people a lot more willing to help with a specific question on a particular method than a general question of "how to make money".

If you already tried starting a blog to promote clickbank, then go into the clickbank forum to learn what you might have been doing wrong. Starting a thread in that forum explaining exactly how you were marketing the site and asking for suggestions to improve it might get you some better responses.

Stop reading so damn much. You won't get anywhere if you haven't started. Setting up a blog is the absolutely easiest part of everything. Most people do this much, never make a cent and give up on IM.

You need to decide... NOW how it is you want to make money online. You got a blog and gave up on Clickbank, fine. What then? PPC? Probably not because you don't have much money or any real experience in IM.

What then? Adsense? Maybe. This is an SEO forum so hopefully you have been picking up on some valuable SEO information. Still, it takes forever to actually make some money with Adsense and if you only got $100 to spend then you probably don't have much money in the first place and you are trying to pick up extra cash from IM.

Affiliate marketing is still up for grabs even though you kind of gave up on ClickBank, then again you only gave up because you were not making any money. When it comes to affiliate marketing its all about getting tons of targeted traffic and with a new blog this can be a pain.

Article marketing to drive traffic is possible and cheap, sounds like a good fit for you but it could take quite a while to learn the game because nowadays you need to do tons of SEO to get good traffic from articles unless you are targeting internet marketing niche.

That is another thing. You got a blog, great. You were into ClickBank so I automatically assumed internet marketing niche because that is what all the newbs jump on but maybe you didn't.

If not then is your domain name really the right fit for whatever niche you are targeting? Chances are not.

No matter what you decide to do you are going to need to be able to choose profitable keywords with low competition. This really is a skill and the wrong keyword is generally doomed from the start. No offense on assuming you chose the wrong domain name, statistics just point in that direction so I'm going with it.

So how do you choose good keywords? If you got no cash then pick up the latest version of Market Samurai from the downloads section. I think its at 87.7 but it could of been updated already by now.

Market Samurai, if you don't have it already, is your new best friend.

The keyword research and SEO competition modules should be what you learn to use first. Use the keyword research module to find a few keywords with some daily traffic.

Depending on how you decide to try to actually make money you may also want to take OCI, CPC and even AWT onto account. Don't worry about the SEO competition data here. Use the SEO competition MODULE to figure this out.

Your only real competition are the guys on page one and the people behind Market Samurai understand this and its one of the main reasons we at BHW love Market Samurai.

Make sure to also take into account the domain name of your competitors. Do they use the target keyword in their name? If they do and you don't make sure to take this into account.

Although people may disagree with me (they are all wrong) all of SEO starts with the domain name. A .com of the exact keyword phrase is the best bet at ranking number one in the SERPs.

The problem is that there are not many keywords that you can live off of ranking for anymore so you need to rank for multiple keywords.

Marketers who build micro niche sites will obviously disagree with me. The thing is that they building dozens of these sites that have the exact match of whatever keyword they are targeting. Each of their sites may only bring in $5/day but have dozens of these sites each making $5/day can be a pretty good income.

Again, its all about choosing the right keyword. Also, don't get too caught up in micro niche sites. You only got $100 and the software (on DNS blah blah) that pretty much everyone uses for setting up autoblogs is quite pricey and it can take a year to make a an actual living even if you could afford all the software, domains, hosting et cetera.

Stay away for now but it can be an incentive to learn keyword research fast.

So yeah, unless its extremely profitable and getting tons of traffic its better to just use a general term for your keyword. If you were going to go into dog training (all the gurus use the niche as an example, lame), you may want to register dogtrainingsuperblog.com or whatever. I'm sure you get the idea.

Again, no reason to jump the gun and spend any money right away on a new domain. If you did decide to go with internet marketing you should probably be fine anyways because you shouldn't bother trying to rank for the keywords, plenty of easier ways to make money in the internet marketing niche.

Dang, its late and I'm losing track of where I started and where I jumped. Marketing Samurai? Yeah, the rank checker is nice but don't get addicted to updating rank data all the time, newbs go crazy on this hoping for the numbers to drop and its a waste of time.

You are wherever you are in the SERPs, knowing isn't really going to do jack for you because its all about being number one on page one. If you are not then you need to keep working. If its taking too long then you are either not working hard enough, doing something wrong or your keyword was doomed from the start.

Look at your SEO competition data in Market Samurai again to make sure your goal (keyword) is something realistic. If you are trying to rank for make money online or something like that I may just smack you.

If the stats check out then try a different link building technique. After spending months reading on the forum you should know that back links are important and that there are many ways to go about creating them. Of course there are forum profiles, blog commenting, link swaps, blah blah blah even BHW has a nice piece of software to help you out, out of your price range but no worries.

There is ScrapeBox of course but if all you have is $100 then save your cash. I forgot what it was called but there is a SERP scraper you can pick up for free in the downloads section. A few minutes of searching should bring it up fairly easily.

So, you should have enough to do some blog commenting and forum profile creation. Its just two things but the more you start to mix it up the better your chances in the SERPs. If you get a ton of backlinks of different types (forum profiles, blog commenting et cetera) you WILL see results.

I've already set you up on enough to go pretty crazy with both forum profile links and blog commenting. Plenty of other stuff that you can pick up easily but these two are favorites here at BHW.

If you haven't figured it out you can scrape the backlinks for all the popular packages using SB (or your scraper of choice). Everyone seems to use the same username for whenever they create their profiles to put together their packages. Just search for the username they always use and you can pick up tons of forums they have previously used.

I'm talking about Angela's backlinks and the other popular ones. I am pretty sure some ciara guy gives some out for opting in to his list for free. You should give it a shot. You can also figure out some nice footprints to find forums to create profiles on for yourself.

This info is already floating around in the forum, hopefully you have picked up quite a bit of it already.

As for blog commenting there is nothing like simply posting on your competitors blogs for backlinks. Forget about just the first page here, go at least three pages deep for backlinks. Make sure to use the allinanchor:"your keyword phrase" to find all the REAL competitors for your keywords. If they got comment fields on their sites then you should be posting.

Need proxies? Get them free. I'm pretty sure peter2002 still posts daily free proxies. Plenty of other sites offer free public proxies as well, I can only think of forums at the moment so I'll leave it to you if you are willing to find them.

You should probably be using proxies even while creating forum profiles. Sometimes, once a forum with a certain platform bans you, you can't register on any forum using that platform anymore so be safe and use proxies.

For blog commenting you can also search for a general term in your niche over at Alexa and find some blogs that are related to your keyword or at least in the same niche. Not going to go into anymore detail about that here, getting bored, you can figure it out.

Lets see. What else? Meh, bored already. Typed more than most will read anyways. Oh yeah. Stop reading so freaking much. Make sure that for every hour that you spending learning/researching/blah you spend an hour actually DOING something like writing content, blog commenting, or profile creation or something else.

Reading and learning and researching may seem like work but its not. Too much of it is simply procrastination. Nothing more than wasted time. Time.

We are all limited by time and resources (money). Wasting either is inexcusable. I am of course the exception that proves the rule. And besides, I hope that all this was NOT a complete waste because I sure do love my sleep.

OK, you got some ideas for how you are going to make money (I think), you definitely know SOMETHING about SEO if you didn't already and you got a decent time management goal. Oh and you shouldn't spend money on anything at this point. Even if you got it to spend it won't really help much (SB is kind of exception but you can get away without it for now).

If you get some more money then make sure to visit our BST thread. We have tons of quality services for great prices. Remember what I said though, don't stick to just one type of link building. Forum profiles are great but mix that in with another blog commenting service or link wheel service or whatever else and you WILL get better results.

If you are hoping on making money quick then your best shot is site flipping. I know you got hosting and a domain is just $10 so you can afford it. Setting up little blogs that get a few thousand unique visitors per month is worth flipping.

If you are making any actual money with a site don't look to sell it until you get it up to $5/day. You could sell this for $800 easy but only if you are hard up for cash.

So how do you get thousands of visitors every month? Use the same SEO techniques. Even if you are not making any money throw up a popover opt-in form and start collecting leads (just email, everyone wants name and email but just go for email). If you can show that you are getting opt-ins then you have a case that your site is worth money.

Of course, you should always start pushing affiliate offers to these subscribers to see if they actually bite. Chances are they will even if they didn't buy off your site. The money is in the list, blah blah.

So what to do if your site is already making $5/day or more? How much should you sell it for? You shouldn't. Hold on to it. If you are ranking number one for your main term then starting ranking for another term or register another domain to start all over.

if you are not making money that means you are not getting enough traffic. no matter how you look at it, traffic = money. whether you are selling a clickbank product, putting up google adsense, or just sell your sites on flippa, you will make money if you are getting lots of traffic. if you aren't getting traffic, either you need to pick better keywords or you need to build more backlinks. once you have picked good keywords, and then have built lots of backlinks to your site using those keywords, money will come.

Scrapebox without private proxies is like running a car on alcohol - really bad results.

Take your $100 and pay for 1 month of 20 private proxies and buy TheBestSpinner and you have everything you need to succeed.

Use Google to guide you with all their wonderful tools and they are free.

If it was me starting over again,

I would decide on your business model firstly...

I recommend the niche site marketing biz model, as you are building sites that not only will create their own revenue stream, but also become assets in the long term, which means you are actually building real wealth for the future.

Basically I would do this:

1. Get the free trial of Market samurai

2. choose any general niche idea, brainstorm for 1/2 hour if you need, and build a list of seed keywords (any terms here you don't understand you can google for)

3. put them into MS, and let it find you 800 related keywords, then analyze those keywords, and filter them so that you have Exact match SEOT matching or above 50 per day, SEOTC below 2000

4. Be sure to check the competition, using MS (there are many tutorials from the noble samurai guys and others, regarding what to look for when analyzing comp)

5. Also, before proceeding with the keyword as a possible winner, be sure to check for whether or not the .org, .net, and .com domains have been taken already (if they have, someone or several people are already on it) I use the below for easy checking of the main TLDs:

6. get an adsense account, amazon account, etc, depending on what niche opportunities you discover (adsense is the easiest to monetize non product niches)

7. buy as many .info domains as you can, 1 for each great low comp, good traffic keyword you can find. eg, if your keyword was "the best digital camera to buy", you would purchase thebestdigitalcameratobuy.info (i recommend namecheap registry)

8. start writing articles, choose the top 4+ keywords related to your site with similar good traffic, low comp attributes
each keyword will become the main focus of an article, aim for 4-500 words, and keyword density around 1%.

9. get a baby package at hostgator hosting, you can get the first month for like 1c, and then it's $10 per month

10. install wordpress on the root of each new domain you have bought, making the name of the site the main keyword, the keyword in the description, etc (you can read up on info here on how to best optimize your wordpress blogs, which plugins to use, etc.

12. then make each article a page on your blog, the main keyword article will be a post for your index. (use BM keyword link plugin, and link all your target keywords back to the index as do follow)

13. start link building (again, tons of good info on here on SEO and link building)

That's it, it's a proven business model, and if you do it you will start accruing money from your successful sites (not all sites are winners)

I have been doing this for 2 years now, and the income keeps building the more sites you get out there..

Take action!

Note: mad.hat does have a valid point about .info domains, they are weaker in SERPS, but again, I was just relating this info to you based on the fact you have a minimal amount of funds. I would always go with .org as #1 choice, .com #2, and .net as #3 choice, in terms of SERPS power.
