Just made partnership, complete newb

So I made partnership on Youtube. I'm trying to figure out how to get content to upload. I have gotten some videos from other Vid sites and uploaded them. The thing is--YT Keeps requiring more information on if I own the videos. Some videos go through right away for ad approval while others are asked for more information. I usually just say a friend took the video on his cellphone or something. Is there a trick to writing the correct thing in the explanation box?

Also, I apologize if this information is right in my face. I searched around but couldn't find anything. Thanks for any help!

I have 36 k legit views and I just applied. the auto appove function didn't work. How many subscribers do you have? How old is your channel?
 
Rofl what a bullshit, Youtube will never make you partner if you upload content that you don't own. and 1 video only ? lmao ... Someone probably made you partner with the cms or no way
 
It depend on the content your giving out. I know this one guy who made partner from a video with only 3,000 views. Its not that hard.
 
He probably bought his partnership from someone with a full CMS account on YouTube. Last month, YouTube busted a large number of fake partners who bought it for $30.00 from a full CMS account owner who was advertising it (and was since banned).

i was involved banning those people, i emailed partner support like 10 times about them then they finally started to pay attention :D
 
I get asked my youtube for partnership on all the videos I put into jump start around 1,500-2,000 views. Just starting to make my own videos to work on this.

because when i had my partner accounts i actually earened them and it was hard work and now people can just buy them, thats just not fair. buying views/comments etc is 1 thing but buying partner is another.

As soon as my video got to 29, 897 views they deleted it for "inappropriate content". Yeah right.
