My Profile Links...What Should I Do

Ok this is for the profile link masters so if you are one or have infon on them please kindly help.been doing DFB for about 5 months or so. I know all the stories on how profile links are not worth anything blah blah but im still pushing on. This time im doing a 2 month trial on deep links from my main site (some say dont but because its off the home page im trying it) and will be running a diffrent link for this month and december.My plan is this......Take my 500 links a day (again a diffrent link a day but using the same keywords) and put them into links2RSS to make a RSS url. Take it into SB and send it to the RSS submiters it comes with and do this daily for each new batch.is this something that sounds like it will help to get them indexed OR am I wasting my time with my methods with DFB and using it for this test of the deep links to the main site.......I await your replay!

Since when are profile links pointless? I know it's not you saying they are, but I haven't really heard too many people say that it's not worth it to get profile links.

Anyway, I think using links2rss to convert all your URLs to an RSS feed and then submitting it will work to get them indexed. I actually just started doing this myself and will see how it works out.

I use SE Nuke's profile nuke module and I was reading around on the SE Nuke forums and it seems some people there are having success by converting all their profile URLs to an RSS feed by using links2rss and then submitting those feeds out to different directories so your method sounds like it'll work.

yes I got the idea from other forums as well HOWEVER one point I hear a lot with the RSS is break it down to less then 100 links PER rss feed...Im trying it with all 500 but wonder if that will be a mistake....Anyone else feel 500 per RSS is to much?

I'd think 500 per RSS feed would be a bit much yeah. Someone on the SE Nuke forums said he does 20 per feed, but he didn't really say why he chooses that number.

I myself did 50 URLs per feed today when I was doing it.

I then post those feeds on a .info domain that I blasted with BMD and scrapebox AND I posted the feeds at a .EDU blog that I created. I then take the RSS feed of that EDU blog and submit it to RSS directories.

According to the Scrapebox Index Checker - it seems to be working as for example last Thursdays 2126 blast shows up as 1963 indexed and 156 not indexed by Yahoo. However I don't know how accurate Scrapebox's Index Checker is....so who knows.

What exactly do you mean by posting them on a .info domain? Do you mean that you just register a .info and install Wordpress or something and then put the RSS feed in one of the sidebar widgets, or is there something else that you do?

I have a 6 month old .info domain that I picked up from Godaddy. They provide simple hosting for 5 pages with each domain you register with them....so I took advantage of that, and simply created a page where I post the Links2Rss RSS feeds. So its a "free" website that is on a different IP from my real sites.

I ping this .info site, and blast away with Scrapebox and BMD...it doesn't matter if the thousands of scrapebox backlinks are no-follow or in a different niche....as I am not looking to rank this page ....my interested is in having search engine spiders visit the .info site (and often).

And as I mentioned in my previous post..I supplement this with a WP blog on a EDU domain, where I again post the Link2RSS feeds as posts...and submit that blogs RSS feed to RSS directories.

DFB is Drip Feed Blast - a service that does daily xrumer blast - so instead of having tens of thousands of blasts in one shot - my monthly 60,000 blasts are spread out through the month....so that it looks a little more "natural."

Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up.

So where does one sign up for this DFB, is it a service here on BHW? Are the prices cheaper than if I were to just buy regular blasts every so often?

Their site is dripfeedblast.com, however you have a little bit of bad luck as they just increased their price for new customers.

I don't think they offer occasional blasts, for that I would look for a service here on BHW. I recommend ixrumer's service as I have bought several blast from him and have been quite pleased.

So how long does this take with 30 feeds per 2000 links? thats a lot of feeds!

How are you guys bothered doing 30 links per RSS when you have 1000 or 2000 links to put in?

You should limit the number of links in a rss feed because when the google bot spiders the website, it only counts certain number of links. If there's 10k links on a website, google won't spider them all.

Somewhere on the google blog it says you should keep the link count per page below 100. Now, that's below 100 links per rss feed if you want google to spider them all. Also, if the website you're posting the links to already has 50 links on it by it's own (for example feedlisting), then you should lower your links per feed to about 50 or below, so the overall link count for the page will be below 100.

That's why you need to keep the links in a rss low..

So I need to break down my 500 links to about 75 links per rss? Also the links that I used to set up the profile links in return is pointing back to a product from my main site. Not an affiliate product but my own as I only sell my own stuff. So im looking at then 4 + rss feeds PER 500 blast, and then send those 4 + rss feeds to either a handfull of rss submit sites OR go through the RSS ping feed on SB. Anyone do good using the rss SB feature?

Something else I have had some success with is I use scrapebox to make a list of do-follow blogs. I then run the commenter and use my backlinks as the website posted in the comments. I then ping the blogs my backlinks made it to. Google is usually pretty good in indexing blog pages.

So how long does this take with 30 feeds per 2000 links? thats a lot of feeds!

The whole process takes me less than 5 minutes to do as Scrapebox helps immensely.

First I get my new 2000+ links from DFB, which I then copy and paste at links2rss. I add a bit of spinable description information and press Convert...link2rss converts the 2000+ into about 70 feeds in a matter of seconds. Next I save the link2rss "converted results" page (with attached files) which is named "convert.php" and re-upload it to one of my websites. I use Scrapebox's link extractor add-on on that re-uploaded page....this step extracts all the link2rss feeds and saves me from having to save each link one by one on the link2rss website.

Now that I have the 70 RSS feeds in txt file, I paste them in an excel spread sheet where I have for columns...column A has 70 lines of <a href=" , column B is where you paste your 70 RSS Feeds, column C has 70 lines of ">RSS</a> and column D has 70 lines of =A1&B1&C1 a formula that will combine all those elements into one which will produce the html code for a link (a href="RSS FEED">RSS</a>) named RSS.

I then simply copy the html code from Column D and paste it on both my .info website and at my EDU Blog.

I use different instances of Scrapebox to ping the info site, the edu blog, and the edu blogs rss feeds. I use scrapebox rss function on the rss feed of the edu blog as well.

And that's it...the first time it may take you a bit longer to do, but once you get the hang of it and have the excel spreadsheet ready to just paste in your new rss feeds...it really is less than 5 minutes of manual work.
