Personally I think there is no need for ebooks until one has been through some of the bhw threads on ScrapeBox. Plenty of free advice. Kudos to yukinari84 for two very constructive posts in this thread. Great points by him as usual. The thread is a great example of some common pitfalls/erroneous assumptions people make about tools. Kudos also to you Mister Newbie for nailing that virus infected download, reporting it, and posting the alert on the thread to help others. That's part of what this community is all about. Finally, as far as the OP's questions of how long it takes to get backlinks, my two quid....you have to factor in two criteria: a - the time delay for mods to review and approve comments (assuming your comments pass muster)....the norm for that is within a day, but I've also often seen mods take days or weeks before going through their moderation queue...FWIW I review my moderation queue's once a week on each site I admin, so put that in your pipe and smoke it...then.... b - once blog comments are unleashed -be they autoapproved or reviewed and approved - the search engines are notoriously slow about indexing them. Think in terms of weeks for that to happen. Don't be too discouraged, try to take this as a learning experience -there's plenty more fish in the ocean. Read through what we have taken the time to offer as constructive criticism, and read through the other bhw threads on sbox - yukinari's best practices thread is timelessly classic, loopline has offered some great tuts, the BST thread is gold if you weed through it, and there are others...oh yeah like stinkybooboo's tuts thread...and more... If I am able to send data through those proxies using SB then how should that affect my results? As long as SB is not actively stopping data from going through them, then I really don't see how that could be an issue.

I read something about using the rapid indexer on the successful URLs that you posted comments on and making them into an RSS feed. Does that make any sense at all?

Scrapebox is amazing. It should cost like $497 to keep people who don't know how to freaking use it away... or maybe an SEO IQ test before you can buy it?
Scrapebox does not suck. I am not trying to be rude here, but your accusation is just flat out retarded. Scrapebox doesn't suck, you just have no idea how to use it.
That is why on a fairly new site, in about 24 hours I had 6k backlinks. I could seriously drop 50k backlinks on any site if I wanted to, however I know better than that
Go back to the basics, learn what you are doing. I can tell you one thing, it is not the software, it is you.

I did not say scrapebox sucks, I said the comment poster sucks - not the whole program. I followed the Scrapebox domination video and after posting 10000 links a week later I have a pathetic amount of backlinks. So I think there must be more step involved to get them to show up - put the URLs that you posted to through the rapid indexer maybe?

It's pretty common knowledge that blog comments are very slowly indexed by the SE's, so expecting a bunch of backlinks a week later is unrealistic.

After bitching about scrapebox, you're asking a lot of the OPs on here 'show me that' and 'explain this.'
Good luck with that, - I wouldn't have the nerve to come on this forum 'with (I suspect) not much knowledge or experience of scrapebox and do either the bitching or the asking...,
I personally decided to read the instructions, watch the videos, and carefully learn what I was doing with scrapebox before I used it..
And for the record, thumbs up for scraprebox from me as well.. after I did what I said in the pervious paragraph, it's works very well for me too.
