Using WordPress/Blogger for AutoBlogs?

An excellent ebook by aspkin - AutoBlogBook - advises against using wordpress, blogger or any other sub domain for your autoblogs. Autoblogging in my opinion should be a minimal outlay as you need to create a lot of them and some won't be successful. Buying a lot of domains, hosting, class C IP addresses, etc. can add up to a lot if you expect to run 100s of autoblogs. What are everybody's thoughts and experiences on this? Are .wordpress.com, .blogger.com and other subdomain autoblogs fine, or is your own domain that matches your keyword for high SEO the only way to go?

Well one thing is for sure you won't get your hosting cut off due to copyright complaints, however I'm not sure if it would be easy to host autoblogs on those sites due to a lack of plugin support.

I may be dead wrong however.

From what I can see, running WP on your own domain/hosting gives you a bit more flexibility in terms of which themes you want running and all of that.

Plus like nowhere said, you're not going to be at the mercy of these free websites...

On the other hand, they *the free wordpress subdomains* might be easier to rank with..

Pick up posts from other blogs / sites, are the platform Blogger or Wordpress, is normally allowed for lodging, they are not regulating the content, because it would have no logic, imagine if the stay lodgings see if the content is replicated to another site = hehehe.

If you'll roam around the forum you'll find there are hundreds who'll recommend you using blogger based autoblogs and definitely thousands who'ld recommend you using self hosted wordpress blogs but almost none who'ld recommend wordpress.com subdomain blogs.

There are many success stories you'll see in the forum by the people who're using wordpress self hosted autoblogs while you need to take ample of precautions if you're going to keep them for long and not just building them to flip away. There are couple of success stories by people who're using blogger.com for creating their autoblogs while i'll definitely say the numbers is pretty low in comparison with the first case.

I personally would recommend you going for self hosted wordpress blogs as you've ample of resources and flexibility to start off, ease in search engine optimization or driving traffic through social media sites. IMO driving traffic to blogger is comparitively much harder due to lesser resources available and some rigidness in control.

At the end its usually a numbers game, quality does matters as well and you've to keep trying your own twists to make things different from the rest to achieve the success.

Paying them for the ability to put Adsense on is kinda sucking for an endeavor!!

Either go, run with Self hosted, or use blogger!
