A couple of Questions...

I want to create a video to promote a niche dating site. If I create a short walk through of the site and its features with Powerpoint/Camtasia would this get booted off YouTube ?

What are the dangers of promoting a registered domain within your videos rather than a Blogger blog? Who is likely to be snooping or what could they do with that info ?

supahoopsa there would be no problem promoting a domain within your videos, because your the creator of the video, nothing really can be done.
I doubt anything would really happen if the site and content matched, ive never had anything happen.

As for making a video to promote a niche dating site, hmmm i see many tutorials on youtube that has videos on how to make money with youtube, as long as your niche is not adult it should be fine.

Could you provide a more detailed case study? Just provide whatever you feel comfortable with? It will provide a great morale boost to a lot of people. No doubt video marketing is awesome, and will continue to explode ( I just wrote a detailed blog post over rating the top 10 sites), but I have not gotten into as heavy as some people.

How exactly would you achive an embedded referral link? considering that you can only achieve that if the video format is .swf or .flv and youtube doesn't allow these formats? and last I checked youtube recompiled your file once its uploaded.. or am I missing something?
