Sorry to those who cant apply this method..... it takes little programming skills which I don't have either. Move this to Jr. VIP if you want but I'm not a member there so it would suck.
First of all, what we are going to do is just harvest emails from college website directories.
For example:
http://www.psu.edu/directory/
What I did was hired someone to create a program for every college that I wanted to gather students on. He only charged me $10 per prog per school, which I felt was really fair. Unless you chose a school that has low population or a bad search. Everything was done in VB so if you have little programming skills you can easily apply this. Just look at how the post method is done to apply the names. Or you could just have the API load the txt line per line and gather like that.
What he did was created a whole list of first names in a txt. Jessica, Veronica, Jack, John, Joe, Joseph, etc. I of course added to the list besides his. I used a list of baby names.
The program goes through the "Full name field" with the .txt of names. It will list a maximum of 200 people(just for the site example). Gather emails and load them into facebook for friend requests
. There are many schools who have these types of directories.
