Yesterday, while searching for PLR stuff i came across the download zip file that i opened on my PC. Inside the zip file was the following file.

Justice_will_be_served.txt

The txt file read;

"You have no excuse now to have downloaded and stole this file from me.
I gave you plenty of warning that you were not allowed to download this file, yet you still did.

Your IP address has been logged."

I had to laugh. Maybe, these morons selling ebooks and PLR rights should get a clue and learn to secure their downloaded products a little better. They are clueless and taken zero steps to prevent theft. If they are getting ripped off, serves them right. Its part of business. Cant secure your stuff, get out of business. This goes for any business, not just the crap being sold online and or via clickbank which is nothing but junk.

I don't think anyone can "secure their stuff". I am yet to see a bit of software that has not been cracked. Anyhow... As poker players say... Don't tap the tank. In other words be grateful for the stuff you steal.

... and i agree with you to a point but there are way to secure your ebooks and files using methods other than providing a simple "thank you page" which is where this was hosted. Anyone in the biz of deploying products are warned time and time again on how to secure these items and told over and over that a simple "thank you page" is not the way to go. Any idiot knows that or should.

Let him log my ip. Doesn't matter too me. Let him go to Australia too follow up. He will be going on a wild goose chase since im in the US and not down under.

Mikie46, the author of Justice_will_be_served.txt is simply pissed off because s/he is unaware of how to protect their downloads. A scare tactic such as that employed by this author is a menial attempt to scare away noobz.
